Devil In Disguise

Devil In Disguise

Maybe whoever compiled it wanted to make sure the file was only ever read once. Or maybe, all those years of working for The Viper were finally getting to me and I was crazier than I thought. Spider was glancing around for clues when my phone vibrated in my pocket. I had brought it because one of us needed to keep track of time. When I saw it was a call from Siren, my heart skipped another beat. This couldn’t be good. “Curtis is getting suspicious.” She whispered as soon as I answered the call. She must be in the bathroom because she was trying to keep her voice down.

The Mage's Heart

The Mage's Heart

I commented, my hair lifting as the portal closed behind us. We were at the coast. I could smell the salt water on the air, hear the wash of the tide against the sand. There was a song in the sound of the ocean that I felt in my bones. I closed my eyes. I could almost hear a million voices lifted in harmony. The hair on my arms stood on end. “I did not consider the effect of bringing a siren to the seas,” Rivyn murmured near my ear. “You can hear it calling to you, can’t you?”

A brilliant adult fairy tale! Dark romance, fairies, sirens, mages, dragons, dark elves, mermaids, trolls, imps, spells, and quests. I loved it, an action packed adventure from beginning to end. Folk lore and fae stories truly came alive, I fell in love with the characters and got lost in the story.

Awakening - Following Fate

Awakening - Following Fate

Sticking out slightly more than the others on a low shelf, almost concealed by shadow because of where it sits, I spot a green book and go to it immediately. “This?” I call out to Sierra, pointing down and she looks around and gasps in glee. “If I didn’t know better I would think you’re part witch. The books are calling to you as though you are.” She beams at me joyfully and I frown it away and go back to the table as she slides it free. Remembering we can’t touch without her say so and eager to get this done. Sierra brings it to the table and flicks through quickly, finding a dog-eared page and Meadow eye rolls dramatically. Slumping onto her own seat and making a show of her extreme disapp

Blessed by the Blood Moon - His Seduction

Chapter 17 The Siren hums once more, the sound resonating throughout the room. Her eyes are locked on to Liam, whose face contorts with pain. “Stop this!” I yelled. “Strangle him.” Liam moves towards Marcus, wrapping his hands around his throat. “I said stop!” I charge at the Siren, yet she backhands me, sending me flying across the room. Subsequently, she appears to direct the Siren´s call at me. Her eyes widen in surprise, as it doesn´t appear to have any effect on me.

Whispers of Sardinia

Whispers of Sardinia

— You’re something else entirely. A woman slid into the seat across from him. Her hair was short, her eyes sharp. — You’re thinking of joining her. — she said. — I’m thinking of surviving. — Dario replied. — She’s dangerous. — So was silence. The woman handed him a phone. — Then call this number. But know this — once you’re in, there’s no going back. Dario took the phone, his fingers lingering. — Maybe that’s the point. — Back in Geneva, Amaro was pacing.

Silent Killer: A Dark Female Spy Romance

Silent Killer: A Dark Female Spy Romance

“Don’t hide from this. Don’t hide from me. I want to see everything. Every tremor. Every thought. Every crack in your walls as you finally admit the truth.” Her breathing quickened, her hand faltering again as I moved closer, my free hand catching hers. I guided her movements now, forcing her to touch herself with purpose. “Feel yourself, Sabrina. Feel how your body reacts to me. It doesn’t belong to you anymore. It’s mine.” The candle tilted, another stream of wax tracing down her stomach, and she moaned—a sound she immediately bit back, ashamed. I leaned down, my lips brushing her ear. “Don’t hold back,” I whispered, my voice both cruel and soothing. “Every sound you make is mine to hear.

Now, Call Me Mother

Now, Call Me Mother

The air inside the cabin was thick, smelling of expensive cologne, rain-dampened silk, and the heavy, musky scent of a man who had just bought my entire existence. "We’re here," I whispered, my voice trembling so hard it was barely a breath. "Why aren't the doors opening?" "The night doesn't end just because the wheels stop, Veronica," Maxwell rasped. He sat with his legs spread wide, a mountain of dark, dominant power. "Come here. Sit on my lap." I bit my lip, my heart hammering against my ribs. I didn't move. I couldn't. The fear was a lead weight in my stomach. "R-Romanov... I d-don't wan—"

Never Call Me Back

Never Call Me Back

I guessed that he was calling to urge me to apologize to Doris in the group chat again. I did not want to answer the call, but the phone rang over and over, as Luke called me over seven times. I was still in the pack cleaning up work, so he called the phone there and the phone was brought to me. "Alpha Luke’s on the line. Seems urgent," the guard said, handing me the phone. I took in a deep breath and reluctantly answered the call. "What is it?" I asked coldly. The moment I picked up the call, Luke's angry voice scolded me over the phone. Someone would have thought I was a servant taking orders.

The Moon Calls

The Moon Calls

Behind me was a warmth, and in front of me was a calm peacefulness. I felt like something was calling me, making me turn to the warmth. What was that? It felt like home, happiness, my favorite food, my favorite novel, all things good, calling me, begging me to come back. A person… But who? They were begging me, pleading that I come back. Princess, listen to me. Please… Don’t leave me alone. That voice, I knew it. I blinked, feeling that pull in my chest. Who was that? I knew them, I did, but who were they?
