BLACK TIGER
I feel a tall man stand beside me, then I hear a familiar voice whisper: “I’ll get you out of there, I promise.”
It’s the boss. He spoke with a shaky voice— he’s crying.
I can’t move my head or turn around. I need to stay professional, after all, I’m still an agent.
I simply nod and walk outside. I’m not even sure if he can get me out of prison, but I’m thankful that he at least gives me a little hope. I couldn’t even ask him about Black Tiger. No, I don’t want to because I’m scared to know the truth, I’m afraid to hear that he died.
