I walked to the window, looking out at the skyline. Morning light spilled into the room, painting everything in gold. “I saw his watch again, Maya. The same one BuildTide gave to all their partners. Same design, same logo, same everything.”
“Maybe it just looks like it,” she offered, unconvinced.
