The Red room sounds so cliche but I hope it is not what I actually think it is because that room name is popularly common in one thing. The door swings in and immediately dim red lights glow from the ceiling, the black walls drink the light. They are chains hanging from the ceiling. Then I saw many other things. Whips, paddles, strange metal toys line shelves. A large wooden X-frame stands in one corner. In the center, a suspension rig with rings and cuffs. They are mirrors on every wall so I see myself from all sides. The room is exactly what I think it is. I would be bare soon and weak. The room smells of leather and oil. My belly falls and my knees tremble.

Anthony nearly leaped for joy, his face lighting up with a smile that he could not hide if he tried. In the shadows by the door, Sebastian's expression darkened even more. I took Anthony's hand and turned to face the doorway, locking eyes with Sebastian, whose gaze was filled with jealousy and a hint of danger. Without a sound, my lips formed the words clear as day. "Well, Sebastian, the Carusos and Russos are joining forces in this lifetime. You won't stand a chance. "The only fate waiting for you is to die without a trace."

Crimson, still moving at superspeed, had then descended upon one creature that turned out to have been devouring the insides of one of the warehouse men. He struck it twice from the back then added one powerful blow that sent a bolt of lightning ripping apart the creature. Kristina was then on his side. The creatures were still quite a handful, their ferocious figures darkened in the night. “There’s too many of them!” Crimson said. “Yeah, no shit!” Kristina snapped back, twisting her dagger in her hand. Crimson was then thinking about getting both of them out of there when the sky boomed followed by a bright luminescence that turned out to be some kind of large mass of energy just a few feet

"Prepare for your new prison, slave." The back door opened, and the witches jumped off the car, making way for four bulky men who lifted the cage with me in it and then carried it out. The rising sun blinded me, and I had to cover my eyes from the light, but as my eyes adjusted to the brightness, my heart stopped. Blood. The ground was painted in a raw-red color that sometimes blended with strokes of dark ashes and black charcoal. Dead bodies of young and old wolves gutted, cut, and ripped to pieces covered every inch of the ground. The four men who carried my cage walked, stomping on the torn flesh of their enemies—the wolves of Crimson Mountain Pack.

Crimson took a deep breath, wiped her palms on her skirt and entered the clearing. As soon as she stepped out of the Labyrinth, and into the moonlight, the forest went completely quiet; not an owl, not a cricket. She shivered with the power of the place. Crimson made a conscious effort to breath as she peered into the trees hoping to get a bit of a warning as to the Dragon's approach. She heard a rustling of leaves off to the right. She whipped around to see... nothing there. She thought she saw a shadow pass between two trees, but perhaps it was only the wind moving the branches. Her fear was mounting. She thought of running, but realized that there really was no life to go back to. There!

"That's the Bloodcrane Spiritbloom?" "Yes." The geezer laughed heartily and smugly. "I spent years honing my skill for this, and it's really taxing, combining the motifs of a crane and a flower. My head snapped up to her once more, seeing the pity had faded and turned to concern. “What do you mean? How can things get worse?” I frown wondering how things could possibly be any worse than they already were. “Crane just turned up with a dozen men.” I could tell by the look on Ruby’s face that she wasn’t joking, even though I wish she were. Her eyes glazed over, and her words trembled, “He wants to take you back to the Crimson Pack.” “What? Now!” I all but scream. “What about the renegades?” Weren’t they here to help us, what were they doing if not fighting back Crane?

If we wanted to make a statement that we were a couple, this said it. Cars queued up one by one, crawling at snail pace up the long gravelled drive. We had just passed through the mammoth sized gates that barricaded the mansion ahead of us. Fairy lights twinkled in each bush that lined the driveway, the entire path lit up like Christmas. “This is all for someone’s birthday?” I scoffed at the Chinese lanterns scattering the front gardens, patiently waiting to be lit. “Yeah, they’re not known for doing things by half.” Giovanni chuckled. His eyes were focused outside, following the slow pace of flashy cars.

In his wolf form, looking like a dire wolf, Nathan and Lilith made their way deeper into the woods behind the school. Once they get deeper into the forest, they both transform back to their human forms as Lilith swallows her nerves and says, “You're Impossibly fast and strong…You undoubtedly have the same markings as mine on your upper back and arms. Your eyes glow a crimson color which is not normal for werewolves, and I know that for a fact since I used to have teal eyes, and now I have emerald green; they sometimes have dots of Amber in them. You have incredible strength, speed, and Power.

After the excruciating pain passed, I opened my eyes. Using the reflection on the temple floor, I saw what I had become. My frame was massive and grotesquely wide, a bloated body like a small hill. My skin was covered in dark blemishes and twisted growths. The face that had once been passable was now distorted into something monstrous. Camilla stood to the side, covering her mouth as she laughed. "Sera, don’t you think this body suits you perfectly?" She looked down at me from above, her eyes dripping with malice. "Now that you’ve got all that brute strength, I’ll just gift those three crippled wolves who can’t even hold their wolf forms to you.
