I already think it is but I want to see it for myself. I pick a card and smirk at it. “First guess,” I say. “Um, No. 5 Red Hearts,” she hesitates slightly. I shake my head no. “Ace, Black Clover,” I shake my head no again. “One more guess.” Lyla frowns at me, eyeing me from the bottom of her lashes. A hidden temper, she's really trying to make sure it doesn't come out. “God. I don't even know much about cards much,” she is frustrated. “10 Red hearts.”

I can operate inside that. He burns another card, then lays three cards face-up in the centre. I lean forward, studying them, already trying to work out what I’m supposed to be seeing. Ten of hearts. Two of clubs. Queen of hearts. “The flop,” Morgan says. “Now everyone reassesses.” My attention snaps back to the table despite myself. Two hearts on the board, and I have one heart in my hand. That’s… a start, at least. Not a flush yet. Not even close. But it’s a direction. It gives me a path to watch.

Jack of Hearts. "I will do what I can to protect you guys and make us another plan if necessary" Then Xavier showed us his last card. King of Hearts. "My job will be to help our gang escape and explain to them what's really going on." We nodded in agreement before everyone looked at me. "And finally," Xavier announced which made me smirk demonically. I turned my card and held it in between two of my fingers. "Our Queen!"

She looked down at the beautiful bouquet of flowers in her lap, feeling overwhelmed by the depth of his sudden affection. "Thank you for these flowers," she said, her eyes misty. "Its so beautiful..." She said. "Is it ?" Landon asked eyeing the flowers for moment. Crystal found a small card in between the flowers. She pull out the mini card and opened it. "A single rose symbolise love at first sight, two roses mean mutual love, six says i want to be yours, none signifies eternal love!"

Six years later…. Garret Holt looked over his father’s land. It had been a few years since he had been back to the small farm that his father and step-mother had. He really hadn’t come since he had become legal and wasn’t forced to visit. Though he loved his father, he equally hated his step-mother. She had been a witch to her niece, who was her own blood, the daughter of her sacred sainted sister, who had left her surviving daughter in the other woman’s care. That proved everything to Garret. Now only his youngest brother was forced to come to this place regularly.

The intense perfume emanating from Hiya's body wafted over her, a pleasant scent that could encapsulate centuries within its allure. Contrary to this, Utkarsh had always been associated with the scent of alcohol. She slowly opened her eyes, and her gaze fixated on his exposed chest where two buttons of his shirt were undone. Shifting her focus away, she looked at his face, which was silently pulling her into his embrace and walking.
