He picked up the scent of a deer and started to follow it. He moved through the woods stealthily, his senses on high alert. He could hear the sound of the deer's hooves on the ground, and he could smell its fear. He stalked it carefully, waiting for the right moment to strike. When the deer was close enough, he pounced, sinking his teeth into its neck. He didn't let go until the deer stopped struggling.

he asked looking surprised and confused. “Yes, I’ll catch, and you can carry”. I turned and started walking ahead as Drake came up next to me, we walked till I found the perfect quiet spot. I couped behind a tree with Drake hiding behind it next to me, we only had to wait ten minutes or so when a deer came into view. I grabbed two arrows and my bow and shot them into its neck. ”Ok, go and get the deer”. Drake just stared at me with his mouth agape. “Holy shit Lelanna” he exclaimed as he got up and ran over to the deer chucking it over his shoulder.

The deer kept on grazing, completely oblivious to what was happening around them. As she strained to pounce on the unaware prayer, he observed her muscles protruding more. The deer was startled and raised its head to look toward the broken twig from a distance away. Selena pounced on when the deer's focus was briefly diverted from their position. She sprang from her crouching position, leaped into the air, and flopped the deer's back, bringing it to the ground with a crash. She quickly and evenly cracked its neck with her extraordinary power. She yelled for him to attend the feast after the kill. She appeared joyful, vivacious, and delighted after scoring a kill. She would do this from birth

Her neck suddenly felt too warm as Kenji’s breath brushed against her. "They’re herbivores; they won’t be dangerous!" Akiko protested, lowering her head to adjust her hair so that it covered her flushed cheeks. Once again, she was puzzled as to why her body was overreacting. This wasn’t the first time Kenji had hugged—or rescued'—her, like he just did. "Did you not see their antlers? They’re sharp and pointed. You can't approach them carelessly just because they don't eat people," Kenji said, gesturing to one of the oldest and largest male deer.

Movement. Four small scraggly wolves. Wild. Heads low. A growl builds low, warning. They turn. Run. Head lifts. Eyes scan. Stillness. Waiting. Scanning. Inhale. Taste the air. Nothing. Nothing. Relax. Settle back down. Rip. Eat. Rip. Crunch. Delicious. The crunch of bone in my teeth startles me, confusion fogging everything for a moment. I just brought it down. But when I look, almost all of the deer is gone, the leg bone between my jaws, the sweet marrow exposed.

Its paws left glowing prints on the grass, fading slowly with every step. “Not bad,” Phineas said, the faintest hint of approval in his voice. “Try another.” I smiled, the thrill coursing through me. “Alright. Let’s see…” The glow flared again, forming delicate limbs and slender antlers—a deer, shimmering and elegant. It moved like liquid moonlight, leaving faint trails that danced in the air long after it passed.
