I jumped, startled when Xander suddenly rang out a little too loud, “Hey guys, why do fathers take an extra pair of socks when they go golfing?.... In case they get a hole-in-one!” Xander laughed, and Marcus rolled his eyes. I sighed and pinched the bridge of my nose, knowing he's only getting started. “How does the Moon cut his hair?... Eclipse it!” Xander laughed even harder and slapped his knee. “Why don't skeletons fight each other?... Because they don't have the guts?” Xander curled forward, laughing way too hard at that one. “Thaddeus, if you don't kick his ass out of the car, I will!” Marcus growled, glaring at the back of Xander's head.

Then after in awhile, I decided to open my account and to my surprise, Bernard chatted me. Piggy: Busy? I'm calling Bernard "Piggy" 'cause he ate like a pig but he didn't even gain fats, same as I. Skeleton: Nope. Kinda bored here. He's calling me "skeleton" 'cause he thought I ate like a pig but didn't gain fats as well. I was petite, actually. After that, his name says "active one minute ago" and I pouted 'cause I hated this feeling. Piggy:

“Are those real skeletons in those things?” I nodded, “Yes, but you can relax about who died to donate them, you can order them from medical facilities all over the world. Whoever they were, they’ve been long since dead and probably died from benign mundane things like heart attacks or cancer or something years ago.” “Where are their legs?” She walked up to one examining its macabre structure. I shrugged, “I dunno, must be why I got them all half off.” She groaned like I’d just punched her in the gut and turned to look at me with a grimace, “Really? That was a horrible joke.”

“Try me.” I grin. “Why don’t skeletons fight each other?” He smirks knowingly, and before I can say it, we both answer at the same time, “Because they don’t have the guts.” We freeze, then burst out laughing. “God,” I say, shaking my head, “we’re actually pathetic.” “No, we’re hilarious.” He bumps my shoulder with his. “That’s an important difference.” *•*•*•*•*•*•* After dinner, I take a shower. Levi’s laid out clean clothes on the bed again. I put them on and go to the living room. I laid out a newspaper on the coffee table earlier, I wonder if Levi would like to play crossword.

“You have called me stupid on multiple occasions, told me I lack brain cells and what else.” “It was all a joke!” Christian defended his actions, but maybe if he never made those jokes in the first place, we wouldn’t have been here. “And I’ve never laughed, not once,” I told him. “Jokes are supposed to be funny.”

"Hugo, did you hear that? She told me to think about the consequences. Oh, I'm so scared." Only when she'd had her fill of laughing did she turn back to face me. "Jillian, what makes a swindling fake socialite like you think you can act so high and mighty in front of me?" she asked, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "I'm doing the world a favor by making sure you don't go out and prey on other men." I had completely lost my patience.

A message bubble lit up under his name, cheerful and oblivious. Just another one of his dry, stupid jokes—something about his dinner being so terrible he was convinced the restaurant was trying to assassinate him with undercooked chicken. He'd probably attached one of those ridiculous GIFs he was always finding, something animated and silly that was meant to make me laugh.

Where all the confidence came from before I have no idea but I suddenly feel very naked. “Yeah, I wasn’t quite ready to meet the chain of my life so I thought that I would try breaking out of these first” He states. My head whips toward him as I arch my eyebrow wondering what he meant. When the joke finally hits me I guffaw with laughter as I brace my hands on my hips. He wiggles his eyebrows at me and I laugh harder than before. “That was a terrible joke” I say through my chuckling. “Oh yeah, I’ve been wracking up jokes to tell you for the last year. You just wait because they are going to get so much worse” He says as he smiles at me.

He said it in a childish tone. "Oh really, but I though your name was Caleb." Jazz replied playing along. "Oh no, I am not Caleb. He disturbs people who want to be left alone but ME, I am Mr. Laughter people enjoy my company." "Oh really?" "Yes." He said it continuing the same innocent tone in his voice. "Shall I tell you a joke?" "Please go on." "Once there was an old man who died at a very young age hahaha..." He ended his short joke with his own laughter
