Two months have passed, and all seems well. Sky now resides in a cottage by the coastline, while Zion remains with the Blue-Sky Pack. They have mated and now live with their three children, a two-year-old twin girl and boy, and also a one-year-old boy. The twins are Krystal, after Sky's late best friend, and Case, a name chosen spontaneously. Their youngest son is named Anthony, in memory of her second chance mate.

I whisper as I fall asleep. He chuckles lightly as his fingers still dance over my belly. "I love you, too, Marrallyn," he whispers against my neck. Christmas Eve morning is an overcast, dreary day with lots of snow falling. The light dusting of snow is very beautiful on the tree branches, especially the pine trees. I glance at Jason as I stand out of bed. He's still sleeping. Good. Now I can wrap his jacket and the baby clothes in a box for tomorrow. Shelbie is wrapping the gift from her and I. I wrap his present and as I was putting the silver bow on the top, I feel Jason's hand slide up my back into my hair where he scraps gently at my scalp.

Khalid looked at Taheem without speaking a word and he understood, the man reached out and grabbed Megan's other arm, yanking her free from Omar and pulled her to himself tightly.

Skye said, then in a matter of second, the bald man's head started smoking, her eyes bleeding from inside, and his stomach was getting larger, and soon, it blew up. His intestines splattering in all directions. "Skye..." I called her, as rage continued filling her eyes, she turned to me, and her expression was changed from anger to sadness. "I'm sorry you have to see that."

Skye had told me that I wasn’t able to tell anyone and I had to keep it hidden. When I was around anyone, she would disappear so others couldn’t sense her. She was a beautiful wolf, I don’t understand why she wanted to hide. But I hadn’t questioned her reasons. Skye was a large black wolf with vibrant blue eyes and she had a white crescent moon on her left hip.

Skye The summit is being held at the Silvercrest Estate—a neutral territory that hosts regional Alpha gatherings.
