Slade Wilson Novels & Stories

I said as I whispered in skepticism. “I know but I can tell that this one is real, I can feel it, and deep down within you, you know this one isn't like the others”, he sounded really convinced but I was still having some doubts about it. “But……” “But nothing, Kaiden. Even if it's just to satisfy my curiosity, one thing I know for sure is that, we are both going to regret it, if we stand here doing nothing” Slade interrupted as he continued to move our body forward.

“Me.” I stare after him, angry, confused and weirdly hurt. What the hell does that even mean? What else is there to protect me from? I already know he’s a werewolf. What secrets is he hiding? Later, near the end of my shift, I find Slade near the supply wing arguing with two guards about security rotations. He notices me immediately. “You look murderous.” I smile “I’m considering it.” He runs his hand through his head in frustration. “Fair.” I cross my arms. “Can I ask you something? Salvatore keeps doing this thing where he almost lets me in and then immediately pushes me away.”

It whimpered and hid. “How?… who?…. What?…. I kept stammering lost in confusion and deep nostalgic fear. That coin belongs to the Silver Willow Pack, the most traditional blood tasty pack in the northern hemisphere. They didn’t visit bars. They didn’t hire prostitutes. “I'm no longer here for a thrill,” he said, his voice no longer lustful, but cold and professional. He set me down on my feet though he kept one hand firmly on my throat, not squeezing, but reminding me who was in control.

“Don’t bother. It won’t matter anyway.” “It matters to me,” I say, stepping forward, only to be stopped when Scarlet and Slade stand shoulder to shoulder in front of Sloane. “You should leave,” Slade growls. He’s younger than I am, but his wolf is obviously not happy that his sister is upset. As a pure Alpha, his aura is stronger than most of the ranked members who are my age and he’s definitely stronger than any wolf his age. But he's not stronger than me. “I’m not going anywhere until I know that Sloane and Aisling are okay.”

The car dragged him for several meters before his grip failed and the momentum threw him violently onto the asphalt. "I'm not afraid to die! Eloise! Give it to me! I'll drink it!" In the rearview mirror, I watched him lie motionless on the ground, a broken, crumpled mess. I looked away. I was so tired. It was over. I asked my assistant in the front seat for the latest update. "Doctor, latest intel. Slade is liquidating all his fixed assets in North America." On the screen was a series of staggering financial transactions.

Zoe Mug of steaming coffee in hand, I wound my way back to Isaac’s laptop. With an empty purse and a repair bill for a Jaguar I-Pace winging its way to me, I can’t afford coffee, but I can’t afford to not job hunt, nor will my finances stretch to reinstating my home internet service. On the slim chance I avoid jail time, I owe Isaac a class trip, Bella a school dress and I need new shoes. I googled Greyson’s fancy car. The eyewatering starting price stands at eighty thousand dollars. My house isn’t worth eighty thousand dollars. I can only imagine the horrific repair bill. The custom made watch he sported wasn’t much cheaper.

One guy asked with a slur, he was obviously drunk. "Shut your big mouth bayo! she's not a maid", delvin angrily grabbing his collar and strike him hard on his jaw. "Delvin stop! Leave him alone" Rita cried out and he calmed. Server him right, I smirked, while looking around with my heart beating fast by the seconds. The music was turned down and everyone turned to listen to what the birthday boy has to say. ' Welcome everyone' I would like to thank you all for being here to celebrate with me today, feel free enjoy yourself to the fullest okay?"

“The prince is known to be picky with women. The fact that he’s giving you the attention you’re getting practically makes you a celebrity here.” I wasn’t sure how to react to that. I was used to being obscure and invisible. Being told that I was known by everyone was a sensation I wasn’t used to, but found rather… flattering. “To answer your question, you’re owned by a legend. Derek Novak made the Blood Shade possible. Many vampires survived the shadow hunters because of his leadership. He found this island, built the Crimson Fortress and won Cora, the most powerful witch of their time, over to our side. He is the most powerful and revered vampire of the Blood Shade.”

Pull the trigger or leave him barely alive to set an example for the people who were still looking for her. "How do you know me? I know you're like me, trained not to speak when held captive or tortured but if you know my name, then you know me, and you know why they called me Adolph's Shadow, don't you?" His Adam's Apple moved up and down as he gulped from the fear she inflicted with that sentence and those dreadful eyes. He could still feel the aftermath of the punch she landed below his chest before sending him sprawling on the floor. "As expected of the Hian Hoshi clan, to be able to produce such a fine gifted weapon as you must have made them proud and esteemed."

Alpha said. “It matters not what anyone here believes to be true. I am here to claim what is rightfully mine,” I said. “Oh? Is this not a family reunion?” Alpha Joshua said. “I, Shane Hayes, am here to challenge Alpha Joshua Wright of the Dark Moon pack,” I said. “Hayes? You are a Wright,” Alpha Joshua growled. “Your name will die here, today. Hayes is the name I’ve taken and will be the name that carries into the next line,” I said.
