With a sharp tap of my toe on the jade stairs, I leaped into the air. Then, I completely released the abyssal demonic energy I had been suppressing within this mortal shell. A tsunami of black demonic flame erupted, in the blink of an eye blotting out the sun and plunging half the Canonization Platform into the shadow of an endless night. It was the purest form of chaotic energy. A single touch would cause a celestial's bones to crumble to dust. The celestial soldiers at the front did not even have time to scream before they fell in droves, like puppets with their strings cut.

I slashed their throats with my shield; their veins with my saber. Their death cries joined together in a symphony of pain and horror. I reveled in the screams of the dying men, licking the drops of blood as they splattered my face. I fended off thrown daggers with my shield, parried sword blows with my saber and counterattacked.
