The brain-dead idiot smiles. "Come on, don't be like that. You know you love me. Why don't you let me help calm you down?" He has the nerve to try to hug me. I'm done with him. I quickly place a sleeping spell on him, and he falls to the ground. He can stay there until I need him for something. Turning back to my spell book, I think about what to do next. I know those imbeciles have been given something that may kill me for good, but I need to know what. I can't fight what I can't see. What could it be?

“just sleep Brittany, you are tired, and I need to go back to the Pack.” She cursed knowing that she couldn’t fight it anymore, “but I don’t want to…I still…wait…” her words weren’t coming out correctly and her eyelashes were dropping, I wanted her to sleep fast because I was already getting weak, this is my first time to cast such a spell. And to think that I was having such a strong boner, “fuck…” I curse, pecking her forehead, before I cast another spell to teleport me back to the pack. I rested lazily on the wall close to my office, my breath was haggard. “Jamie, stupid…”

Unless— “Witches,” I growled, slamming the heel of my hand against the dashboard as I swerved through lanes, tires screeching. “They used a sleep spell.” That was the only explanation.

I raised one brow at her. She made a snotty face at me. "Yes. Please continue." She waved me on. I nodded. "Okay, one day in Spells and Potions, some jackhole was messing with me. The counterspell I threw hit one of his deflection spells and slammed back into me." I could remember that day as if it were preserved on digital.

"Who are you!?" She roared but fell as the sleep took her. "Good job, now I know why you practiced that sleeping spell so meticulously" Jasper said. "It was a backup spell I knew would come in handy, now" Hector approached the downed black wolf "Time to get you to New York" He said taking out a blue stoned ring.

"F-R-E-A-K!" A sudden chill runs down my spine, and when I look up, I notice ice has covered Maze's lips. She is now rendered useless, her lips won't even move, and I stare in amazement as her hands try to claw at the ice. Panic is written over her entire face; meanwhile, Sleepy shrugs at me with his eyebrows held high. "I got tired of her being rude..." Sleepy yawns and takes a sip of his coffee. After he has swallowed, he clicks his fingers, and Maze is released from whatever spell he cast. "Have you learned your lesson?"

The herbs started to glow, just like before. "I think I'm getting better at this!" I grinned. Afterwards, I made myself a tea, went upstairs, drank the potion, and laid down in bed. The waiting for the herbs to work made me even more anxious than I was before. I started to seriously wonder whether my spell could work in those conditions or not. Yet, after about 15 minutes of drinking, I closed my eyes… and fell asleep peacefully.
