Chapter- 97 Elnora POV “Queen Elnora!” Sabastian’s voice booms into my mind waking me from a deep slumber. “What is it, Sabastian?” I ask as I hastily sit up in bed and rub the sleep from my eyes. “He has spies within the Kingdom. I do not know who they are, but he is getting information from them. He knows about the boys and that they are sleeping on the top floor. He also knows that they are hanging out in town a lot and spending a lot of time out of the house. Whoever it is, is watching all of you closely.” “What have they said about us?”

Martha and Lucien nodded in agreement, and together, they made their plans to seize control of the kingdom and restore the dominance of the vampires once for all. The moon hung low in the sky, casting a pale glow over the kingdom of Selene. It was midnight, and the kingdom was enveloped in silence as its inhabitants slept peacefully, unaware of the impending danger. But beyond the kingdom's walls, in the darkness of the surrounding forest, a group of soldiers clad in black marched silently towards Selene. They were Dominic's loyal troops, sent on a covert mission to infiltrate the kingdom and spread out along the outer wall.

It hit the white marble of the breakfast island with a clinical brightness that made my eyes ache. This was the "perfect" life I had curated for seven years—a museum of high-end finishes and low-grade dread. I sat across from Adrian, my fingers curled around a porcelain teacup. The liquid inside was lukewarm, a bitter Earl Grey that matched the stagnant air in the room, but I didn't care. As if attempting to recall the sensation of being complete. Beyond the boardroom, the workplace thrummed with normal activity. Within, two kings battled their history, their emotions, and above all, the irresistible fo rce drawing them closer.
