Jericho

Jericho

I slumped in the chair and stalked the movement of his hands with my half-mast gaze. "Destroying what should have been destroyed years ago." With those whispered words, he brought the dancing flame to the cover of the book. Flames licked around the edges, blackening the pages until they withered and became a pale white. The ashes trickled down like the beginning of snow on a blistering winter night. Snow. Such a pure element to think of under such circumstances. Snow resembled a blank slate, new beginnings. Maybe this could have been what this was if I had burned the damn book the moment it landed in my possession.

Could you please advise when this is to be completed? It’s been awhile since late update & I truly want to finish the trilogy. I loved Gunnar & Ace, it just isn’t right because I am unable to read all of Jericho! Please advise author, you are to good of a storyteller not to finish what is started.

After reading her book of Victor I understand her reason for delaying. However; Aurtor please post an update on this book as well. I'm feeling the same as everyone else when it comes to this book. I've left it in my library for a good while waiting. I'm sorry but it has left me not wanting to read

Slightly Lazy, Evil, Carefree Cultivator (Book 1)

Slightly Lazy, Evil, Carefree Cultivator (Book 1)

Then his inventory cutting of and tracers that may have been on it. Sky Fire: Forms from large heat increases in the air. With a concentration of Ion energy, it would combust and burn for a few months if uncontained. If contained, nurturing will keep the fire constantly lit. A white cloudy fire. "Master Ren, why not speak with them? It couldn't hurt. Could it?" Jackson just finished doing some trades of his own. Various different seeds for new plants. As well as a new cauldron. The latter for experimentation. It was extremely old and might possibly have developed sentience.

Forbidden Friendship

Forbidden Friendship

**Elena’s POV** As the fire crackled softly, casting playful shadows that danced among the trees, I allowed myself a moment of calm to reflect. The warmth was a comforting balm against the night’s chill, a stark contrast to the chaos that lay ahead. The rhythmic snapping of burning wood was soothing, a lullaby that momentarily eased the tension thrumming beneath my skin.

The Healer's Bond

The Healer's Bond

“Does it bite?” Steve snorted. “Probably.” They reached a circular antechamber at the end of the hall where a massive tome—several feet tall and wider than a table—sat on a pedestal of smoldering glass. The book was open, its pages turning themselves. Emma stepped forward and placed her hand on the edge of the platform. Immediately, flames curled around her wrist—not burning, but connecting. Visions surged. --- Emma Sees the Past

Her Burning Desire for Intimacy

Her Burning Desire for Intimacy

She walked over to the dining as she poured herself a glass of lavender tea. “Tea please, thank you,” I responded while I took slow paces observing the art in her living room. “There is something you must know my dear Emily” She handed the cup of tea over to me. My heart skipped a bit at the way she said those words. All I needed at this time was just a good rest along with some peace and quiet but it seemed like I might be in for a long night. “Okay, what could that be?” I took a quick sip of my tea.

Teach Me How To Burn

Teach Me How To Burn

Always the charmer. I didn’t write back immediately. I wanted her to wait for it, wanted the anticipation to do half the work. Then, slowly, I wrote: Let’s see if I can make you squirm without touching you. She didn’t look at me. But she blushed. Real hard. I bit back a smirk. My sneaker found her ankle. Just a light nudge. Then a slow, teasing drag up toward her calf. I didn’t push too far, just enough to remind her of everything we almost talked about last night. Everything she wanted.

Blood ,Fire and Frost

Blood ,Fire and Frost

The hollow smelled of damp stone and spent fire. Embers still glowed faintly, casting long shadows across the mossy floor. Selene sat cross-legged on the blankets, Rowan lounging beside her with his arm draped protectively across her knees. Lucien leaned against the cracked wall, his pale fingers steepled, his silver eyes fixed on the fire as though reading the future in its smoke.

A Flame in the Shadow

A Flame in the Shadow

Ember The town hadn’t stopped smoldering. From the crumbling rooftop where I sat, I could still see the firelight flickering like a heartbeat in the distance—slow, persistent, dangerous. I was trying not to take it personally. The bond between me and Orion felt louder tonight. Not painful. Just… insistent. A low, steady thrum beneath my ribs. I couldn’t tell if it was trying to warn me or seduce me. “Brooding again?” came his voice, smooth and sharp like a dagger wrapped in silk.
