“We’re working on repairs. You should see the hall. It looks like a war zone.” Oliver sighed. “That’s because it was a war zone.” He stood slowly, stretching his shoulders. Even that small movement radiated strength—more strength than he’d ever shown before. His aura pressed faintly against my senses, heavier than before, sharper, almost electric. It made the air vibrate slightly. He noticed me studying him. His jaw tightened. “The pure blood changed more than my strength.” “I can tell,” I said softly. Oliver didn’t respond, but the small flicker in his expression said he had heard every thought I didn’t speak.

Smith managed to get out. The stranger smiled but before he could answer Olliver was there, so close to the stranger, his face barely a few inches away. "What are you doing here? I asked you to wait, didn't I? I am working." Olliver spat and Smith was confused, looking between the two men who were conversing with so much familiarity. He had never seen Olliver talk to anyone like that before ever.

He had no idea what Oliver was plotting. +++++++ Oliver closed his laptop and leaned back in his chair, propping his feet up on the desk. A malicious smile spread across his face. He opened his desk drawer and pulled out a photo of Samantha. “We really do have a lot in common. You like feeling pain, and I like inflicting it. And soon your little boyfriend is going to see the surprise I have in store for him. Once I get him out of my way, no one will stop me from making you mine,” he said, putting the photo away before calling his subordinate. “Let’s go. We have a surprise to prepare for Adam. This time that bastard won’t escape me, and I’ll finally get rid of him for good.”

I finally asked. "It's bad, Chris. It's awful." Oliver just said before going back to silence. The moment we arrived at the station, the bad thing he's saying just waved at me. Simpson family put up a stage right across the station. Mr. Simpson is on the stage, with a mic on a stand and his whole family behind him. If I didn't know him, I would think he's campaigning for mayor. "Seriously?" That's all that came out of my mouth. "I told you, bro. It's bad." Oliver said before shaking his head. I heard him sigh before coming out of the car.

Oliver laughed, advancing out of the water, naked as the day he was born. Something flew his way, and he was catching it before it fell into the river. "Get dressed. I have no business seeing that!" Damon mumbled, even if Oliver could hear the laughter in his voice. Oliver unwrapped the small bundle, smirking when he found a small towel, and a pair of sweatpants in it. It was quite proper, considering the sweatpants were going to be destroyed the moment he shifted back for his journey back. I blew out and the laughter stops. It is replaced with cries and I know they are hurting Micah. "Please... That hurts. Shit, that hurts," Micah's weak voice cries out. My heart is now pumping in my head. I think I would pass out from the heat of the moment, but what rather happens is that I brace myself up for what is about to happen. "Don't hurt him. What do you want, Oliver?" I ask frowning. "Some respect maybe? And that you should shut the fuck up before I send you a package filled with your lovely brother's chopped body parts," he stated.

"I am to assist you in becoming Nathan's wife and infiltrating the Norvanian military to steal their top secrets. I am also to find the whereabouts of Winkler and obtain more hydronium." Sally sneered. "Looks like you haven't forgotten." Oliver turned the steering wheel and suddenly hit the brakes. He quickly turned to strangle Sally with a sinister look. "My mission doesn't require killing Chubs. If you dare lay even a finger on her again, I'll kill you myself." Sally choked and struggled for air. Her face was turning purple from the lack of oxygen. It wasn't until the very last moment that Oliver finally released her.

"Your Excellency." Oliver wanted to cry, but there were no tears. He said in a panic, "I don't know what's wrong with that. Those wooden stakes and stones suddenly moved. It was completely unexpected—" Oliver looked at Darryl and shouted, "It's Darryl. It must be him." Oliver was scared and angry and wanted to blame anyone else but himself. After all, he had made zero contributions and killed nearly a thousand fiend soldiers. If Morticia were to blame him, how could he survive that?

Oliver wipes his mouth with a paper napkin, leans back against the pillows, and flashes me an irreverent, worrisome grin. "You seem to be in a very good mood," Oliver notes, his tone shifting instantly from domestic warmth to seductive devil. "Let’s talk about getting me in front of a computer terminal so I can destroy Senator Scott."

Oliver says, “They took Jaxon’s body too. He poisoned the bullets, hopefully not with Somnus Chorosyn. But even if he did, there’s no Jaxon to set the poison off, so-“ I cut him off with a destabilising hug. Oliver makes a noise of surprise, as if he never thought I would miss him half as much as I did, but when he recovers, he pulls me closer, resting his chin on top of my head. “Glad to see nothing crazy happened while I was away.” He mutters, somehow, in all of this, fucking making jokes. “Oh shut up,” I reply, but pull him tighter till I’m sure neither of us can breathe. He smells like the country and motorcycles and freedom.
