I think you need some sleep. ME: Goodnight. As I’m about to switch off my phone, a drop of red liquid lands on the screen. I frown and touch my nose with my fingers. Then I glance at my fingers. Blood. “Oh…,” I murmur under my breath. I guess I’m taking too much stress. I stride into the bathroom, approaching the sink and starting to wash my nose. The bleeding doesn’t stop.

I think I am a little bit of both. It was a miracle that my nose was still working, even though it is now broken. It was incredibly hard for me to breathe; it was so strenuous. I am just tired of it, and this smell? God, I hate this smell. I never knew something of mine could smell so bad, and yes, I mean my blood. It splattered on the majority of the floor and had become the new paint for the walls.

I cried, engulfed by pure fear. I could feel the warmth spreading across my face as my nose began to bleed. The blood trickled out, a slow but steady stream that I couldn't seem to stop. I felt dizzy and disoriented, as though the world was tilting on its axis. The metallic tang of blood filled my nostrils and I could taste it in my mouth. It was a sickening, coppery taste that made me want to gag. But I couldn't focus on that now. I had to do something about Raina.

I heard a crackling sound of broken glass, then my nose wrinkled as I smelled the delicious scent of blood dripping on the floor. “Elizabeth!” My father ran towards her, but something possessed me. Before my father was able to reach my unconscious mother, I ran towards her in a swift movement and sank my teeth into her bloody hand. My enraged father grabbed my shoulders and attempted to pull me away from my mother's already limp body, but the beast in me would not concede. I ferociously shoved him and continued on drinking my mother's blood to the last drop.

The wind howled violently, scratching at my throat until I felt an itch that seemed to make me want to cough. "Enough talking. Choose, or I'll let them both go." At Amber's signal, the men next to us hoisted both me and Tara up. The salty sea breeze hit me in the face, and the sharp smell of ocean water churned my stomach. However, nothing compared to the screaming in my ears. Before I could even draw a breath, Ethan had already made his choice. At that moment, everything went silent. Amber instinctively turned to look at me. My vision flickered and spots of black clouded my sight, but I did not know why.

As soon as I threw the bedroom door open, the strong smell of blood wafted into my nose. What the hell is going on?

Blood. So much blood. I can't see it but I can smell it. The smell of blood is so intense, it causes nausea to roll through my system. I don't know where I am but I can tell that this place is a small, enclosed space with no source of illumination. As I reach out in front of me, my fingers brush the cold brick wall. I repeat the same action behind me and the same thing happens. Panic slowly starts to set in and my breathing speeds up.
