Beneath The Facade

Beneath The Facade

AIDEN "Have you found anything?" I ask the Ghost, holding a tumbler of whiskey in one hand as I gaze out at the star-studded sky from the balcony. "Nothing suspicious yet," the Ghost replies, his deep voice resonating through my earpiece. The richness of his tone seems almost artificial, which isn't surprising given the person's efforts to conceal their identity. As someone known only by their alias, their true nature remains a mystery. For all I know, a woman could be orchestrating operations from behind the scenes, utilizing advanced voice alteration technology to disguise her voice. I shrug, indifferent to the Ghost's gender, as long as they deliver results.

Runaway Heiress: The Billionaire’s Forgotten Bride

Runaway Heiress: The Billionaire’s Forgotten Bride

She didn't flinch. She held his gaze. She let him look. She let him see the chestnut hair. The pale skin. The gray eyes. She let him see the ghost. And then, slowly, deliberately, she smiled. It wasn't a warm smile. It wasn't a happy smile. It was a small, cold, amused quirk of her lips. The smile of a woman who knew a secret. The smile of a woman who was bored. She broke eye contact. Not in panic, but in dismissal.

My Ex-Girlfriend Finally Faced My Ghost

My Ex-Girlfriend Finally Faced My Ghost

" Two guards in black immediately moved in, ignoring Nellie's struggle as they dragged her toward the exit. Around them, guests lifted their phones, snapping pictures and laughing under their breath. Voices overlapped, mocking how pathetic the Scott siblings were, laughing that people like them might as well be dead. What they didn't know was that I was already dead. And Nellie was suffering from the same illness I had. She didn't have much time left either.

Sweet Smile for Sazkia

Sweet Smile for Sazkia

Not a ghost or an imitation. “Who. . . Who are you? ' Sazkia's hands trembled. He wanted to run away from that creepy place. "I? What is the importance of me to you? What I want to say is be patient even though Allah tests you with a big test " Sazkia lowered her head. She did not rub her eyes again. People say ghosts will disappear in the blink of an eye. If you rub your eyes and he's still there, that means he's human. Not a ghost like what She had in mind.

OWNED BY THE GHOST

OWNED BY THE GHOST

Marcus, the quiet guy from accounting leaned against the door, arms crossed, with a bitter smirk twisting his lips. “McAllen,” he said. “You’ve been looking real happy lately. I see you enjoy your late night with the boss.” My stomach dropped. “What the hell are you talking about?” He stepped closer, I could see the jealousy in his eyes. “ I saw you leaving the private elevator. Looking like a man whose ass has taken some cock. You’re not the first, you know. The Ghost destroys anyone who tries to get close. You’re just the latest toy.” “The Ghost?” I laughed it off, but my voice sounded shaky even to me. “Sounds like some movie legend bullshit.”

Alpha Caius and the Runaway Luna

Alpha Caius and the Runaway Luna

I explained, “So I get them on my sandwich but pick them off.” I glanced at Damon to find him whispering something to Ghost, who then threw his head back and started laughing. It took twenty seconds of glaring for him to wipe his eyes and offer me an explanation. By then I’d gotten a near perfect image of his flawless teeth. “His canines are nice,” Ziva admitted. Ghost’s keen gaze sliced over to where Maverick sat at the bar. A pile of banana peppers sat on the corner of his sub wrapper. He lifted his head; a dab of mayonnaise stuck to the corner of his mouth.

The Alpha's Mute Mate

The Alpha's Mute Mate

"I was wondering when you'd show up." The beast's attention turns to her, and Ghost-me doesn't flinch. Instead, she steps forward, arms spread wide in welcome. "Hello, sister. I've been keeping them ready for you." The beast's mouth—my mouth, scaled up to impossible proportions—curves in a smile that holds the weight of futures already lived. When it exhales, Ghost-me dissolves into silver mist and flows into its lungs like she's coming home.

Ghost Chefs

Ghost Chefs

"You're finally awake!“ I turned to my left to see who had spoken, but I couldn't control the yelp that came out from my mouth as I came in contact with striking green eyes. He looked young and had a boyish grin on his face which suited him perfectly. He was like a specimen that had been beautifully crafted by God. The blonde curls on his head looked soft and I found myself wanting to run my hands through them. The only thing stopping me at the moment was the fact that he was a ghost. But, why did he have to look so hot? “Why are you hunting me? If you want my pizza every day, I will gladly give it to you as a peace offering,“ I negotiated. The ghost just chuckled and smiled at me. Kill me i

The Demoness Alpha

The Demoness Alpha

But the ghost of smile didn't escape from my eyes. "Uh, yeah ..." I whispered, almost silent. Now, his smile could no longer be seen. "Your voice is too low, I can't hear it clearly." I closed my eyes sharply and took a deep breath. I don’t know if he didn’t really hear or he just intentionally harassed me. "Come on, say it," he whispered still smiling. His dark eyes twinkled against the lights and it was mesmerizing to see such shining charcoal orbs. "You're playing with me," I complained.

Submitting to my Alpha Bodyguard

Submitting to my Alpha Bodyguard

A handsome devil and he knew it but he was a survivor and I loved it and I hated it at the same time. “What? What’s funny?” He broke the spell; I didn’t know I was smiling in the first place. “Nothing” “Your lips…they are doing that thing they do when you are happy” “It’s called a smile, Flames. I didn’t realize it’s a crime to smile” “Never said it was, Mia” The Mia came out a bit exaggerated from his end. “You don’t want me to speak, you don’t want me to smile, what do you want me to do?”

Allie
Not the typical love story. Even with the grammatical errors, this book pulls you in and makes it hard to stop reading with some humor and steamy sex. You won’t be disappointed. Lovely ending. Looking forward to reading about the other guys.

This author, Stella is currently writing the books I'm reading and since she only puts out a chapter at a time, I'd figure I'd read her whole book before the other books are finished. The "Claimed" series is pretty good!
