Once Simon arrived at his office, he got a call from Riley. “Who’s this?” he asked. “Oh, this is Riley, Mel's cousin,” Riley said seductively. “Yes, what can I do for you?” Simon asked.

Maya retorted with a huff, grabbing her water bottle and taking the last few sips of the delicious drink. "Really?" Riley questioned and Maya nodded, walking towards another water bottle standing just off the mats. "So if I went to call him to come train with us, you wouldn't mind?" "What!? Why wou-" Maya was going to go on a rant but the moment she saw Riley's face and how her one eyebrow was raised and a signature Dawson smirk gracing her lips she swallowed what she was going to say and plastered the fakest smile she could muster "why didn't you think of that earlier? Go ahead bring him!"

Lily said, " Why can't he come to meet you. He is your friend and you're talking to him rudely." " Smiley.. " Grandma stared at him angrily, "take him in your room." She turned to Lily and said, " Lily, make coffee for them." " Okay. " Lily said and walked towards the kitchen. Parth went upstairs and Ryan followed him into his room. " Sit there on the bed." Parth said and he himself sat on the chair. Parth took his phone and started scrolling it, not talking to him. After few minutes of silence, finally Ryan said, " Your name is Smiley? " and laughed little.

Our laughter must have drawn some attention because suddenly, Orlo appeared at our table with his trademark charming smile. "Mind if I join you ladies?" he asked, his voice smooth as silk. Riley's face lit up, a hint of a blush coloring her cheeks. She sat up a bit straighter, her eyes sparkling even more. "Sure, Orlo. Have a seat." I couldn't help but notice the way they looked at each other. It was subtle, but there was definitely something there. Orlo's smile grew a bit wider as he took the seat next to Riley, his gaze lingering on her for just a moment longer than necessary.

He should look ridiculous, but my treacherous body tightened as he smiled at our sister. Riley was the only person who could make Ash smile like that. It was real and bright and genuine. Normally his stupidly handsome face was twisted into a smirk. Smirking Ash was sexy as all hell, but smiling Ash was beautiful. I hated that I didn’t hate it.

Happy, even. Now he wanted to throw me away for someone shinier. My phone buzzed on the nightstand. Riley's name lit up the screen. "Is it true?" She didn't bother with hello. "Is Harrison really replacing you?" Riley was the daughter of one of the Pack elders. My closest friend here, maybe my only real one. “It’s going to be a big one.” Lilly clapped her hands. “And our Hailey is now officially a cheerleader. I still can’t believe it.” I smiled weakly. “It feels a little unreal.” Roy smiled too, though it was small, tight around the edges. “I’m proud of you,” he told me. My stomach twisted because I meant to smile back, but I felt Ryan’s eyes before I even looked at him. When I did, he held my gaze with a lazy confidence that shot straight through me. He knew I didn’t look away first.

I gently hit Riley's shoulders and he turned to look at me with obvious resentment plastered on his face. "You had better smile if you don't want to see my bad side" I said, my voice going to a malicious tone. Riley's eyes widened in shocked as he stared at me, wondering what he might have done wrong. "I'm trying my best here" he replied. "It's not exactly easy to smile comfortably when you're being given off to an old man as a piece of candy for him to have a taste." Riley rolled his eyes then returned his gaze to the ground.

She took the drink with a smile and takes a sip. He relaxed his hands in his pocket, and scoots closer to her, heaving a sigh. “Enjoying?” he asked. Her eyes follow his face. “I can’t say I am enjoying completely. But thanks for asking anyway.” “Why do you pretend to be fake when you aren’t? why smiling when you can’t smile from inside?”. “And who said I am not smiling from inside? You are wrong about it. I am not sad about anything. Not now anyway.” She drank the whole win in one sip.
