Sashi said while continuing from writing. "Wraith? Ah, you called me once like that before. What is that anyway?" Clark ask while giving all of his attention to Sashi. "A wraith, an evil ghost. Those who died with wrong doings in life. Like that." Sashi explained. "Ahhh." They stayed like that for a while because Sashi need to finish taking some notes. Clark just observing her the whole time. "Stop staring, I can't concentrate here." Sashi said without looking at Clark.

When he turns back to face me, my lips tremble, and I stammer out a single word: "Vivaldi." His eyes gleam with amusement as he licks the Hunter's blood from his fingers, raising an eyebrow in a playful waggle. "It is I, Snowboy," he says with a smirk, like a kid caught with his hand in the cookie jar—or in this case, the blood.

Ryan's POV In the chamber room, Trevor and I sat across from each other, the silence between us weighed down by the same heavy thought. Crystal, yet again. Trevor leaned forward, elbows on the table, his brow furrowed deep. "She's not just with the Shadow Blood pack anymore. Our source says she’s riding to the White Snow pack as we speak." I exhaled slowly, my jaw tightening. "So it’s true." He nodded once. "With Thorne and a handful of his warriors. It's not for war, but still…"

The entire formation was on the verge of collapsing. The Wraith Infant sensed his intention and was about to speak. Just then, there was a roar, and Amelia hunched over, riding the Dodge Tomahawk motorcycle, lifting the body upwards, cutting through the night sky between the two buildings!

The shadow stumbled back, stunned. That punch hurt more than expected from such a small Omega. “Attack! All of you!” she yelled. The rest of the crew charged. Three wolves surrounded Snow in an instant. She frowned. Normally she’d be terrified, but her Gamma parents had trained her well in both human and wolf combat. They all attacked, claws slashing, fists flying, ripping at her gown. Snow stopped moving. The shadows froze. “Is she… dead?” one of them whispered, stepping closer. She crouched and placed two fingers under Snow’s nose.

Jake Two hours later, Jake headed back to the basement. Warren’s knuckles were coated in blood and all Devon did was laugh at the detective. Both men turned to look at him when he opened the door and he grinned. “Do you know who I am?” “Should I?” Devon asked with a sneer. “Jake Savage,” he said with a smirk. “But my friends call me Wrath.” Devon’s eyes widened. “You’re Wrath?” “You took my sister and tried to have me killed in prison.”
