TONY'S POV The alarm rings by 5 am on the dot but I am already awake. I have been awake for the past two hours because I was awakened by a nightmare. The same nightmare that always starts the same way; Everybody would be in the living room of my mansion and we would all be having fun and playing board games and generally having fun. Then all of a sudden, some faceless guys barge into the house and then they kill everybody except me. I start to cry knowing that it was all my fault and then I wake up sweating and gasping for air.

The message flashed on the screen: “Mommy’s coming.” The nightmare wasn’t over. It was just beginning.

He won't let you finish. The screen went black. Then another buzz. A voice message. I pressed play. A static-filled whisper. "Phase One is complete. You shouldn’t have remembered that photo." Click. --- I stood frozen in the middle of the penthouse. Unseen eyes on me. A truth buried so deep it bled when I pulled at it. And the terrifying realization... The nightmare hadn't ended the night I came back. It had only just begun.

However, what I didn’t expect was that someone else wasn’t ready to let me go. The next day, an unfamiliar name appeared in my inbox. The email contained no words and only a link.

I frown at both my thoughts and weirdness. It's my bestfriend. Why am I feeling weird around my best friend, it's weird in itself. "Oh. It happens." I mumble.

The room was quiet and everything was still but a hundred footballers were playing in her head. The nightmare had come again, but in a different way, and it was her birthday. "Jesus Christ" She muttered as tears rolled down her eyes.
