Bound By The Don's Bloody Bargain

Bound By The Don's Bloody Bargain

“We weren’t expecting—” “That’s the point,” I said, already steering Olivia toward the stroller displays. The man trailed behind us like a terrified duckling. “Is there… a specific theme you’d like to explore today? Gender? Color palette?” “Everything,” I said. Olivia groaned. “We’re not buying everything.” I looked at her. “We’re buying everything that doesn’t look stupid.” “Oh, that narrows it down.” We wandered into a section filled with blankets so soft they felt like clouds — if clouds came in six hundred dollar bundles tied with silk ribbons.

Fragments of the Winter Moon

Fragments of the Winter Moon

The room had settled into a controlled quiet, the kind that did not come naturally but was instead held in place by careful restraint, as though every person inside understood that even the smallest disruption might undo whatever fragile balance Celeste’s body had finally reached. The faint scent of crushed herbs lingered in the air, subtle but constant, grounding the space in something tangible while everything else remained uncertain. Soft light filtered in through the tall windows, stretching across the floor and climbing partway up the bed where she lay, unmoving, beneath layers of blankets that had been carefully arranged to keep what little warmth her body held from slipping away.

The Moon God's Bride

The Moon God's Bride

She trembled slightly, curling tighter beneath the heavy blanket that now covered her. The blanket was like a shield of feathers, heavy but protective, draped over her to guard her from the remnants of the darkness that still lingered in the far corners of her mind. As it settled around her, cocooning her in its embrace, Elara felt a sense of safety return. It wasn’t the same as the warmth she had felt before, but it was enough to make her body relax once more.

Rejected and Desired

Rejected and Desired

It’s not a real nest, not like the stories say omegas used to build, but it’s close enough: fleece layered on fleece, stitched together with the kind of stubbornness that comes from too many years alone. I wedge myself into the soft, forgiving center, pulling a velvety pillow to my chest. The scent of lavender sachets is overwhelming, masking the low hum of panic that’s usually the backdrop to my every waking moment. My hands shake as I drag the nearest blanket over my shoulders, but the tremor slows as the weight settles.

Alpha King Chases Abandoned Luna

Alpha King Chases Abandoned Luna

"Here," I said, draping it around her shoulders without looking. "This will help." The blanket's special moonstone fibers would help regulate her body temperature and provide comfort. I'd had it installed in all my vehicles after Lily's illness, a precaution that now served her mother. Olivia wrapped the blanket tightly around herself, still glaring but visibly relieved by its warmth. The combination of alcohol, cold water, and emotional exhaustion was clearly taking its toll. Within minutes, her eyelids began to droop. She fought against sleep, her head nodding forward before jerking back up.

Oh.god please not again. Victoria is out of the jail? What's wrong with this author? Is there no end to her lies and manipulation? I don't think the autjor is in the mood to end this story and give justice for Lily and Olivia. It seems like Victoria herself is writing this story

By Chapter 140 we’ve read several different versions of this story like the author can’t decide so just rewrites the scene a few times and leaves them all in, with so many inconsistencies it’s hard to keep track. It’s gut wrenching, but the plot constantly changes so you don’t get a cohesive story.

He Came Back Running

He Came Back Running

Inside, tissue paper. Inside the tissue paper, something soft. I lifted it A blanket. Small. The right size for a newborn, the size that would eventually be outgrown and would be kept anyway because objects that have been close to a small person become something more than objects over time. White.... Embroidered. Across one corner, in a script that had been chosen for legibility rather than decoration, the kind that would be readable in the dark, in the half-light of a room where a small person was sleeping:

While I like it so far, it's difficult not to notice that AI is being used for a great deal of the story. It's painfully obvious because "person does thing with the quality of a blah blah blah that's decided something and rearranged themselves around it" That sentence structure is used ad nauseum

This is how you tell a story! I do pray it stays this way as I failed to look and see it was ongoing as I usually don’t read ongoing books because updates are not substantial but baby…!!!! This book thus far is a great read and can’t wait until it’s completed.

One Night Stand with My Brother's Best Friend

One Night Stand with My Brother's Best Friend

I took a deep breath, then hugged the blanket, which still held a faint scent of his warmth. Morning came quietly, only a soft light seeping through the gaps in the thin curtains. I opened my eyes slowly, as if my body were afraid to disturb the tranquility that had been building since last night. The air in the room was still chilly, and the blanket wrapped around my body was the only barrier against the cool bite that was trying to enter.

The Heir's Child

The Heir's Child

"It isn't caving." "It absolutely is." "It's... strategic financial planning." She bursts into laughter. "Whatever helps you sleep at night." As we begin gathering the paperwork, I wander a little farther down one of the aisles. Blankets. Sheets. Tiny pillows. Stuffed animals. My heart melts a little more with every step. Then I stop. Folded neatly on a display is a bedding set unlike anything else in the store. Soft sage green. Cream-colored trim. Tiny embroidered wolves beneath a glowing moon.

Is It Wrong I Want Daddy So Bad?

Is It Wrong I Want Daddy So Bad?

We spend an hour in that section alone. Tiny knit blankets so soft they feel like holding air. A changing mat in cream leather that costs more than my first month’s rent in London and I put it in the basket without blinking. Muslin wraps in sets of six. A mobile for the cot with hand painted wooden animals hanging from gold wire. Booties. Mittens. A hooded towel with a duck on it that makes Anaya make a sound that isn’t quite human. “I’m going to be the best aunty this baby has ever seen,” she announces, holding the towel against her chest. “I’m already their favorite person.”
