he scrunched his brows, "That's a disgrace!"
"You know nothing of honour!" the man yelled, "You obey the king's orders. Isn't it worse?"
Carl faked a smile, "Oh if you knew what kind of man he is,"
"A mad man! That's what he is!"
The soldier soon regretted insulting the king as Carl stepped harder on his ankle. He let out a groan, and tears fell from his eyes as the pain haunted his body.
"Sir, we held two other prisoners," a soldier approached Carl, who nodded with a smile. "Good. We'll walk them to the palace. The king would know what to do with them."
