Sweet, Sweet, Nightmare.

Sweet, Sweet, Nightmare.

That corner of the bed room had seemed to be a make shift office as it housed items that could only be found usually in an office. The aforementioned mahogany office desk, a black office chair- one of those chairs that had wheels and usually were a delight to sit on, a mahogany book shelf was nailed into the wall and it housed several books. I went through the books, pronouncing the titles as I ran my fingers along their spines. Some were Italian books, their delicate looking spines made it obvious that they were classics. To avoid damaging them, I had removed my fingers from their bodies, avoiding making contact with them. I then returned to the bed which had been laid neatly and thrown mys

Books. Shelves and shelves of books, arranged neatly from floor to ceiling. The shelves were dark mahogany wood, and the room smelled faintly of aged paper and polish. The warm lighting reflected on the gold-lettered titles that lined the spines. There were tables in the center — carved from marble — and plush leather chairs beside them. A ladder on rails stood against the far wall for reaching the top shelves. It wasn’t just a library — it was majestic. Arden stepped forward, his eyes wide with disbelief. “This…” His voice trailed off as he turned slowly, taking it all in. “This is incredible.”

One Luna, Four Alphas

One Luna, Four Alphas

The floor was made of shiny, polished hardwood, and there was a soft, plush rug in the center of the room. In the corner of the room stood a tall, wooden bookshelf, filled with books of all genres. The books looked old, but well-kept, and they gave off a distinct smell of aged paper. I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and admiration as I looked at the collection. There was a large, comfortable-looking couch against one of the walls, adorned with a plethora of soft cushions and blankets. In front of the couch was a wooden coffee table, on which Marcus had placed a tray with two glasses and a decanter of amber liquid.

I’m sorry. I gave up on this book. It was all over the place. Names mixed up. Events changed from what we previously read in a prior chapter. There is an entire chapter completely unrelated to anything about this book. It doesn’t flow. It doesn’t seem to go anywhere. Refund would be nice…

he announced while guiding me through the threshold. I sucked in a breath, awestruck. “Wow, this reminds me of Beauty and the Beast.” I drank in the impressive view of the floor-to-ceiling bookshelves that filled the perimeter of the room. There were ladders on runners that were attached to the top of the shelves. At the center of the library, there was a circular cherry wood table with four red upholstered chairs. In the middle of the back wall was an enormous set of glass French doors that open out onto a patio area. From there, you could step down onto a stone staircase that led into the gardens.

Awesome ... Loves this first love story of Caleb & Ruby even though the ending should be more exciting and also hints of a second book of their story and the kids. Hopefully the second book will be out soon.

This is easily one of my favorite books. It checks all my boxes. It's sweet, serious, and fun all at the same time much like the way real life could be. I can see a second book with these characters.

The Dawn Falls

The Dawn Falls

Jay pointed to the white bookshelf with geographical patterns on the sides. "But isn’t that too modern?" "I'm looking for a wood-style one." I wasn’t picky when it came to these things. I just like to pair the one I am buying with the one I already have at home. "This one?" I chuckled, Jay laughed, and even the store owner giggled. Mom pointed to an unfinished bookshelf, which was literally wood without any paint or design. Gosh, that’s a literal wood.

“I can add any type of details that you want.” “Need one for the nursery and one for her room.” Chance said. “Red and white ash barn door. Black lacquer modern sleigh.” Sticks nodded. “Standard size? All shelves or hanging bar?” “Shelves.” Rye answered. “I don’t like hangers. How much are they?” “That one there is stain grade pine, bare wood, basic hardware with adjustable shelves. Starting price is thirteen.” Sticks rattled off before Chance could stop him. “I can’t afford that. Thank you, though.” She said softly heading back to the hallway.

Sinful Desires: Craving My StepBrother’s Touch

I didn’t need five minutes to get their attention, five seconds was enough. Bene pushed the door wider to allow me to enter and I sent him a grateful nod. The room was dimly lit, the only sound was the soft crackle of the fireplace as it cast a warm, golden glow over the space. The walls were lined with towering bookshelves, stretching from floor to ceiling. The shelves were packed tightly with volumes of every shape and size. In the center of the room, a massive mahogany table stood like a monument, its polished surface worn smooth by generations of use. There were several papers strewn across the surface.

Double-sided Revenge

Ruben strode comfortably towards the door with a silvery knob and pushed it open. Luuk was met with the biggest and most luxurious private library he had ever seen. He had imagined the shelves to be made of brown wood but instead, they were made of glass. The tacky common ladder designs were absent and instead, a silver plated strong looking machinery with platforms was installed below the shelf. At a glance, Luuk could tell the machinery was one that lifted people off the ground, to the direction and height they desire with an automobile robot assistant to move the books around. He had seen it in a video once but never in real life.

Queen Of Ace

Queen Of Ace

She turned her back to face us, flashing a half-smile before she spread her arms to present the one hell of a room we were in. This place was bigger than I thought it was, and there was a pile of unused school furniture like desks and chairs cluttering the one corner. The large, wooden bookshelf placed in the middle of the room separated two sections of it. Some books with worn-out covers were stacked in every shelf, and cobwebs adorned them as if owned by a witch or something. It looked old, and the varnish that was plastered on it was peeling off.

Memories of a wolf

All thoughts and doubts I left aside and continued to stride towards the library. It wasn't long before we reached the place and to my chagrin, the library was massive, even larger than the Western archives. I couldn't help but be in awe as I stared at its designs—minimal and yet have a natural feel in them, probably because the bookshelves are made from Narra wood and its tables are made sturdy of bamboo. A tiny part of me wanted to rest and sleep here all day, if it weren't for the formalities I would've laid beneath the wooden tables.
