ALPHA MAX CHAPTER 23: Jayla POV "Oh fuck, what are they doing here?" I groaned in annoyance as I let my head rest against the headrest. "What do you mean about that?" Max glared at me angrily through the rearview mirror. Suddenly I get anxious because of his stare. "Bro, calm down and you can punch them." Giovanni said trying to calm him down. Max has three sides, the one side that is cocky, arrogant that he shows to everyone, the other one which is sweet, soft and clingy, my favourite side of him. And the cold side, angry and furious that he could kill anyone with his bare hands right now.

My belt is undone, and my pants hit the floor followed by my briefs. I stand before her naked. Her eyes follow my hand as I grip myself and stroke. She nods causing me to smile. I know she likes to watch, but not happening tonight. I walk to her and drop to my knees before spreading her legs enough so I could slip in between. Running my nose up her seam, I take a deep breath. “You smell so fucking good, Tesoro.” “Max, please.”

Alpha Maximus leaves the room to give me privacy. I put a matching set of black undergarments on. It’s cold out, so I decide on the jeans and shirt. Then I wear the soft light pink jumper over the top. I then fumble around for the socks. I’ve never worn socks before. I struggle to get them on and fall off the bed with a whimper. 'Hope? Are you okay?' Max yells out. 'Yes, I'm fine,’ I gently shout back. Reaching for the box, I open it to see a white pair of converse shoes. I put them on and stand. I wriggle my toes laughing and swing around in a circle.

“At least your phone bills will be low.” That smile spreads, flashing off all of his impressive white teeth. “You’re taking this surprisingly well…” he trails off. “I mean.” I scratch my head again. “I don’t entirely get it, but your world is full of surprises. It’s just strange to hear you…up here.” “Try it on me,” he says, giving me a look of encouragement. My head tilts to the side in confusion. “How? I don’t even know where to start.” Maxwell’s large arms fold over his chest as he studies me for a long moment. “Just close your eyes,” he starts. “Think of directing a message to my head.

Maybe he had never been treated like that before, but slowly, the calls stopped. The messages also went silent. At last, I could start adjusting to a new life. At first, it felt strange being in an unfamiliar place and a brand-new job all by myself. However, little by little, I realized I could actually find joy in it. Life began to feel meaningful and purposeful again. The part of me that had been suppressed for years was finally breaking free. Sometimes, though, my thoughts would drift back to the past, to those unforgettable moments that had carved themselves into my heart.

They all gave me an encouraging smile and turned around to give me some privacy to remove my clothes. I carefully removed my dress, underwear, and shoes and folded them neatly into a pile. I stood back up and looked up at the moon. ‘Are you ready, Emma?’ My wolf said. ‘I am.’ I responded. ‘How do I do this?’ ‘Just let go. It will hurt. But don’t fight it. It will be over soon. Let go and give me control.’ She said. I did what she said. I took a deep breath and let her take control of our mind and body. I started to feel my bones break. I let out a little scream and fell down on my knees.

Max stupidly asks him. "Sorry, BroMax, seems you're glitching, you're breaking up, I can't talk to you right now, bad signal," Troy responds in haste before getting up and walking over to Simo to order his favorite ice cream -- 'bland' flavored ice cream, his words, definitely not mine. Max shakes his head before glancing at Bell and I in bewilderment. "Am I dreaming? I was talking to him face-to-face, right? How can I be glitching?"

Rachel beams with excitement. Sara sighs dismissively, "Yeah I like it but still, it's annoying." Her uncaring and angst-ridden self returning. She turns back to Max who is in the middle of putting his pants back on. "And you, bro? What are you still doing here?" Any hint of arousal, love, or positive emotion had now left her voice. "You got your handjob, now leave me alone." Max opens his mouth to argue but decides it's not worth it. He collects himself and walks towards the door.

“Work your way up.” Max looked back at Javier. “But honestly? Uncle Igor is still cooler. He can lift a whole bucket of ice with one hand and taught me the ninja swim move. He also made a fire with just two rocks. And…” Max leaned closer and whispered, “he almost threw Daddy into the ocean once, he said.” Javier burst out laughing. “Sounds like I’ve got competition.” Max nodded seriously. “Uncle Igor also lives alone in the woods and says he won’t get married because snow is better than love.”
