Something Happened Book Novels & Stories

Glancing back to the book I contemplated whether or not I should finally read it, about two days after the mysterious woman had given me the book some weird things had started to happen. For one it always felt as if someone would constantly watch me every time I'd want to start with the book and in the evening the house would be filled with voices I`d be too scared to get out of bed to look and all this went on about a week, it was then when I decided to pack the book away and read it when I got back home and since then there hasn't been another incident until now... I tried to recall what the book was about but nothing came to mind. Gazing back towards the book, it felt as if something was

Daniel Hart was a chapter closed with no intention of being reread. And then, on a crisp Saturday morning in early October, I met him. The bookstore was nearly empty—one of those independent shops with mismatched chairs, shelves that reached too high, and the scent of cedar and old paper in the air. I went there often, drawn to its quiet corners and anonymity. I was in the psychology aisle, flipping through a worn copy of The Body Keeps the Score, when I heard a voice behind me. “That one saved my life. Or at least explained why I couldn’t sleep for three years.”

I hugged my resignation papers to my chest, watching the endless stream of cars pass by. My thoughts drifted uncontrollably. I remembered when Sydney had just returned from overseas, Greg had broken company protocol to hire her as his assistant. Back then, he had even explained it to me. “Zoe, she ran into some trouble. I’m just helping out. Don’t overthink it. I’ve known her for years. There’s really nothing between us.” I believed him. I even foolishly helped him with arranging a place for Sydney to live. Yet, what happened after that?

One of the assistants came over to take off the mic still attached to me, in the process, her arm knocked into the bookshelf. A few of the books on it were knocked down. One, dropping down painfully on my feet. “I’m so sorry.” She blurted, bending down to gather all the books. I bent to help her. After picking up a few of the books, I made to carry them over to the table when my eyes suddenly caught on the one at the very top. I didn’t know how many times I could claim coincidence for some of the things between London and I. But this, this was definitely not a coincidence.

she mumbled like she always did before any incident happened. ****** Thanks for reading. And yeah, please give a chance to my other books as well. Beta Nicholas is a werewolf romance. Please read it too, and the decision of completing it is completely on you. Thanks. And please, vote for the story :)

I watched her disappear before I turned my attention to the book; it was so heavy and looked very scary. I was just staring at the book when something stirred inside me. Suddenly, I felt the overwhelming urge to open it. Without thinking, I placed it on the table and bit my finger as I remembered—it could only be opened with blood. As a drop fell onto the cover, the book began to flip violently on its own. My heart raced. The last time it had landed on a page with a terrifying picture, and Olivia had said it always carried a message for you. I wondered what the message would be this time.

Zac struck again. Before coming, he had watched anatomical videos. He knew exactly where the kidney was. He wanted that kidney. Kathy, sleeping beside him, didn't escape either. By the time the police arrived, blood filled the room. Zac sat there holding a kidney in his hand, grinning like a madman. Because of his illness, he didn't last long after being arrested. He died in prison not long afterward. My mother aged ten years overnight. Her hair turned completely white. After handling all the funerals, she took Keith's youngest son and returned to her hometown.

However, her hand unconsciously rested against the front of my pants. With the way we were standing, it was easy for her to reach. She was preparing, too. "Three… two… one…" The train suddenly plunged into the longest tunnel. The entire carriage fell into complete darkness. At that exact moment, Phoebe quickly pulled open the zipper at the front of my pants. At the same time, I hurriedly tugged her black stockings down just a little…

But what they would soon find out was that their souls also transcended the universe but in a very different way; one that they could never have conceived of. Life had taken a very different turn for them and the change, although a bit scary, was welcomed and treasured in the end. Four lives forever entwined, connected throughout time and space. And to think it had started out so normally. Everything had gone smoothly and as Alexis and Aeden looked around their rooms all they could see was love and warmth. It was as it should be and the girls couldn
