Something Happened Book Novels & Stories

Both were really awkward at each other at first but when they found out that both were reading the same book, they eventually got a comfortable to talk at each other. “So, you also read that book-” “Yeah, I got into it after a friend of mine recommended it to me.” “Isn’t it a great book.” “Yeah, I got hooked on it after reading the first chapter.” “bla-bla-bla” Both continued to talked to each other and enjoyed their conversation. “I was feeling an awkward atmosphere growing between our table so I was gonna try to start a conversation but when you brought out your book, I was just surprised to see a person reading it.” The girl said.

Mystified by the strangeness of it all, he flipped through the pages, quickly reading through the book, and immediately froze, rooted to the ground as what he discovered in the pages snatched the air from his lungs. Totally unforeseen, unthinkable, and unbelievably devastating, the long-buried secret revealed in the book struck him as a bolt from the blue. It was as if his entire world had been turned upside down in the blink of an eye.

He asked in a firm tone that made me shake inside. I have to be careful with my answer, there seems to be a conspiracy at play here. Someone definitely wanted me out, but I don't know who that is, at least not yet. I remembered I had indeed handed a man a small book while at the mall. It had fallen from the man and I was only trying to help, not knowing everything was planned and I was being recorded. And now everything seems to make sense to me. I closed my eyes, then opened them back in an instant. The next words I'm about to say would either put me in trouble or vindicate me.

"How did you get this book and from where did you buy it ?”, the manager asked me with shocking reaction on his face “ Actually even I am also not sure how it exactly came to me but while I was flying for Brazil I stumbled upon this book which was in my bag and it seemed quite interesting to me so without any further delays I just started reading it, but unfortunately whatever the incidences which are written in this book are coming into life as it is happening to me in reality which is totally baffling me”, I told the manager about everything

I said "it's okay you guys carry on I will be back after sometime" they agreed i went to library i seen bookshelf is moving how can a bookshelf move is there any ghost here iam scared god if it is really will it kill me I went slowly someone is coming I thought it ghost and screamed "ahhhhhh" someone closed my mouth with their palm and pinned me to bookshelf

With a gentle hug, I put the book down and immediately left for work. At 5:30 I was behind the shop waiting for my employers. I began to think about what happened last night. I was contemplating how a small book could increase in size by itself. The book could talk and give instructions for humans to follow. What amazed me more was the fact that fire of blood could rest in a bowl and the book didn’t burn but when I put my hand I was burning that I could even felt the fire even in my intestines.

Aurora A day had passed since the incident occurred. One thing I did observe was that I was at peace. The texts from various unknown contacts subsided. I didn't know how to feel, but I suspected Brian was responsible for some of them. I sat on my bed sipping tea and reading a book I'd published a year ago. It was a tragic romance story. As I sipped, I noticed something: The female lead's life was weirdly similar to mine. She was in emotional distress, and quite frankly, she was the problem. I giggled.

She wanted to see if she could open the book, it would be exciting to tell people she could open the book. She slowly turned the first page, and her heart skipped a beat. She had no idea why. She stopped opening the book But the book slowly opened by itself, surprising her. She was expecting to see writings, ancient writings, but what she saw was a blank page. She raised the book and shook it, yet nothing. But when her bloody finger touched the page, a bright glow came emitted from the book, almost blinding her. It happened too quickly and she faded into the book. The book fell to the ground and vanished.

But before I could speak— A loud explosion erupted inside the bookstore. Glass shattered everywhere. People screamed. Firefighters shouted. And everyone instinctively ducked. My heart nearly stopped. Because suddenly one terrifying truth became clear. This wasn’t over. Not even close. Whoever was behind all this had just declared war. And somehow, I knew the worst was still coming.

Only then did she let herself breathe. She stopped in the middle of the living room, Caio’s card still pinched between her fingers. What a goddamn night. She couldn’t believe any of this had actually happened. Her life—once perfectly under control—was now a full-blown disaster. Headache, bad luck, everything spinning out of her hands, all at once. The house was finally empty. She needed a shower, bad.
