Something Happened Book Novels & Stories

I dump my bag on the floor and read through the shelf while pulling books out and mumble as I go. ‘Even a book can be dangerous in the wrong hands.’ ‘Ignite.’ ‘Hell is empty and all the devils are here.’ ‘You’ll make bad choices. Sometimes you’ll choose the best of bad ones.’ ‘Tuesday is Fucked.’ ‘Everything’s a game. And now it’s your turn.’ I have a stack of about 10 books before I abruptly stop. "Next isle." I say and we walk up and down the library isles. I climb and jump to get books off of shelves and Aidan has to catch me a couple of times when I fell.

Then together, they arranged the pages by numbers then stood up and watched. After a few seconds of watching, the book suddenly slammed close, with the torn out pages and all, and then it began vibrating continuously. No sooner than it began, the vibration stopped and the book suddenly stilled. Diana and Sia glanced at each other, both unsure of what was going to happen next. However, they did not need to wonder for too long, as the book sprung back open with an enormous burst of lightwave, which threw both Diana and Sia off their feet and sent them flying.

' Emilia was lost in her thought when her attention was caught on a woman who had just completed her check-up, exited with a terrified expression. 'Unplanned pregnancy?' Looking at the departing woman, Emilia noticed a familiar man approaching her direction. 'Wha...what the fuck is he doing here? No. Emilia thinks about it. It may be a coincidence, after all this is a hospital. Yes let's think that way, shall we?'

There was a book and a pen on the coffee table, though, which was something. Crystal leaned over, picked it up, and was disappointed to discover that it wasn't a diary or journal. The title on the book's jacket read: Howard's Amazing Adventure- and according to the back cover, the book told the story of an alien rabbit that had accidentally broken into the earth. Crystal picked up the book, turned a few pages randomly, and finally put it down indifferently.

I walked down the rows of books arranged, and then I stopped. This was where I saw the book last. But the book was missing, and the space had been left conspicuously empty; someone had taken it out of its place and didn't return it. Could this be a coincidence too?, I doubt it; someone didn't want that information seen by anyone. I walked to the next shelf. I noticed a book kept out of place from the others, and I took it. Turning it over, I saw the title 'The Book of Prophecies'.

--- For the first time, they didn't have to solve anything. --- Save anything. --- Understanding nothing. --- They could simply be. --- In the afternoon, they sat in the library. --- Between the shelves. --- Where the years had once stood. --- Most of the books were still there. --- But one was missing. --- Just one. --- The book titled: --- Those Who Stayed --- It had vanished. --- Months ago. --- No one knew where it had gone. --- And somehow, that didn't bother anyone. --- For some stories wanted to wander on.

How did I get myself in such a mess, and how am I going to get out of this mess? I got married. I came here hoping to find a job, but I got married instead. No, no, this can't be. I turned and ran to the changing room; thankfully, he didn't call me or run after me. I changed back into my clothes and stood there, staring at myself in the mirror. I looked at my hand, and there it was - the one thing and evidence that reminded me what happened a few hours ago. I picked up my clutch and left.

What is going on? “What happened? What did you see?” Damien asked. I sat up, trying to think. I didn’t see anything. I only felt and somehow it felt real. It felt like I had experienced something like that before. “I can’t explain it Damien, but it’s terrible. We need to find that book. That is the only way we can know what is going on,” I said. He breathed out, standing up and helping me up, and I couldn’t even stand on my own two feet. I was almost falling down, but Damien held me.

Unspoken Truths - Chapter 18 Sareena It’s been days since I opened my eyes and for the first time, I feel like me again. No headaches, no nausea and no room spins. My thoughts are clear, and my body feels steady. I’ve also passed every concussion protocol they’ve thrown at me, and today, Dr. Danov finally gave me the news I’ve been waiting for: “You’re almost cleared to leave.”

I was speechless. 'Ah, I forgot about that.' The book I was reading was called 《The Male Lead's Lover》. It was a story filled with crappy cliché, and I also don’t know what I ate to read that kind of book. Maybe I was momentarily out of my mind and bought that book in the bookstore, or maybe I was asleep as I picked that book on the shelf.
