Zephyra said with a laugh.
“Karma’s a bitch,” Brady replied. He started to smile but winced, his hand moving to the nasty gash on his lip. With a nod of his head, he invited her inside.
“What happened?” Zephyra asked, stepping inside what was obviously a man cave. The flat-screen TV covered the whole wall, a central hub connected to a lot of fancy sound and game systems. There were bean bags, leather couches, and various chairs all around the room. She didn’t see any knickknacks or decorations that weren’t gaming, guns, or hunting paraphernalia.
