The only survivor before me sat amongst the insides of his comrades, wailing as he clutched the collapsing body in his arms. As I approached him, his gaping rainbow eyes turned to me. His hands clutched for my face while still smeared with the insides of the Soul he grieved over. “T-they’re a-all g-gone!” Cosmo gasped “m-my f-friends! My FAMILY!”

"Evet." When he lowered his head and entered his room, he came across a picture of his parents. With a wry smile and heavy steps, he went to the nightstand and took the picture in his hand. While the word "I'm sorry" was falling from his mouth with broken sobs, he embraced the picture among his rising cries... Death was right, but the person who caused it would suffer from remorse until he died... ***

The woman continued to complain as though she hadn’t heard her daughter’s worrisome pleas nor seen her pitiful state. Stunned by her reaction, Marcel excitedly yanked her arms out of her mother’s grip yelling in grief. “Mom! Stop it! Just stop it! Mike is gone…. Your son is gone... my… my brother is dead and it’s all my fault!” As if a flood gate of emotions were let lose, the aggrieved young woman shouted out her inner most confliction of self blame with tears streaming down her cheeks and a glistering red consuming her hazel brown eyes. The numbing pain that had been suppressed for nearly two months now was quickly poured out into the open.

He lacked inner peace. He inhaled the vinous smoke as the corner of his lips twitched in a sad smile. His eyes deceived him being moist and a lone tear slipped down his face on the sand. The sand sucked the water as soon as it fell on it, and he wondered if his pain disappeared in thin air like that. He breathed out a puff of smoke through his nose and mouth. Looking up at the sky with the sad smile plastered on his face he spoke up, "Why so hatred for me, ya Rab?"

The snake said as she slithers around me. "I can't be yours. You know that very well. I love someone else." I said. "Hahahaha. Who said I ever wanted that foolish mortal feeling? No. I want you to belong to me." The snake said. "Don't let her Lucif." Diana said, almost out of breath. I could tell there she has been making Diana suffer. "Lucif. It's not worth it. Don't do as she asks you to do." Linda said, crying. "You two are not even aware of what I am capable of. After I kill the both of you then your soul won't go anywhere. It will remain chained here with me." The snake said.

“Why am I crying?” I got up and made my way out of the clearing as sobs racked my body. I din’t understand why I couldn’t stop the tears. I wasn’t hurt; I wasn’t sad. “Why can; t I stop?” I dropped to my knees and keeled over. I stayed like that until I felt my father’s arms wrap around me. “Why can’t I stop?” “When you doubt the power inside of you, something that is woven into your very core, you hurt yourself. Like you shoved a dagger into your heart. It is a soul wound, and it hurts. The crying will pass.”

[AUTHOR'S VOICE] "Oh, Moon Goddess! I humbly request, please take away this pain. I am unable to breathe — my lungs are filled with smoke that hiss; I cannot scream my lungs out. Please heal my soul…!" —— Hesitatingly, a pair of startling chartreuse eyes slowly opened only to collide with a heavy set of bright dots that evilly pulsated effortlessly, to make the one who has just woken up from a dry, dreamless world, groan in response to their blinding reflections.

“Let him fight! Let him fight! Let him fight!” Kelvin stood up and looked around until his eyes met mine. Then he knelt in front of the chapel as the rain began to pour again. I looked up to the sky and saw the clouds parting for the blood moon to emerge. And the chatting became louder. “Let him fight! Let him fight! Let him fight!” Kelvin slit his wrists with the spirit sword and allowed the blood to drip on the stairs of the chapel. And we all heard a rumbling sound apart from the sound of thunder as Darka emerged from beneath the chapel. “Let him fight! Let him fight! Let him fight!”

But I knew that no words could heal the deep wound that had been carved into my soul. The air was thick with grief as the name "Jade" echoed through the once-peaceful room. The cries of her name were almost unbearable, each utterance laced with pain and despair that sent shivers down my spine. I felt as though my very soul was threatened by the mournful sound, as if it were trying to leave my body to escape the heart-wrenching scene that lay before me.
