Spell Bound

Spell Bound

Belle sat up in bed, using the buttons on the side to adjust the positioning as the nurse had shown her. The book, white with a pentacle on the cover, described the basics of witchcraft in terms even a layman could understand. Her older sister had been kind enough to drop it off, along with a change of clothing and a box of Thornton's continental—her favourite chocolates. According to this book, the spell Damien cast on her would be returned to him threefold.

I was quite surprised by this book. I tried reading it before but lost interest in it. I picked it back up yesterday and just finished it. I have to say, I'm quite impressed. I have read all but one of your books and you are a great writer. Thank you.

This is the fourth book I've read by you, in as many days. This one is different from the others. I like it and look forward to Damien coming out. I'm going to be sad tomorrow when I, hopefully, finish the other two books you have on this app.

To my surprise, Sara actually laughed. The girl took one of the chairs next to the door, pulled it over to the bed then sat. “I see, and what is it you want to speak with me about?” “Ian was in possession of an evil black magic book of the deabru. We believe he’s using it like he did when he killed Agron to heal Caius’ brother. Only instead of healing, he’s taking the souls to boost his strength, speed, and all that.” “That’s a grave accusation,” Sara said. “How do you know he has this book?”

Such a good story! The story flows well. Doesn’t go on too long describing a vibe or paragraphs of how one foliage growing on a home looks like (looking at you, Anne Rice). Seriously, though, “Jilguera” is a wonderful storyteller. Read this story. It’s so good.

Creative show not tell like of story. Unique and dosent have “breaks” or emotional slow parts. Love the diversity and embracing unconventional circumstances. Also it’s not to long or drawn out, it’s just the right length. A delightful afternoon read 10/10 thank you!

MOONVEIL ACADEMY, HEIRESS OF THE FORGOTTEN SOULS KINGDOM

MOONVEIL ACADEMY, HEIRESS OF THE FORGOTTEN SOULS KINGDOM

I thought you’d want to take a look, just in case. Thank you, Nova, I said, looking at her axolotl. We walked into the library, and she asked for a small manuscript. The man is stiff, vampire maybe? Place it in front of us. I opened it. The first page was empty, and I turned one more page; the language was ancient. Reading out loud: the shadows will rise, and the darkness answers to one only, the real queen of the forgotten souls. Uhhhmm, Nova, I think you got the wrong book. It doesn’t say anything about Rune healing.

I Was Made From What You Couldn’t Let Go

I Was Made From What You Couldn’t Let Go

“Elio was persuasive. He said the pack needed this. A way to preserve his knowledge if anything happened to him. I believed him.” I flipped through the pages. “And now you want to fix it? After weeks of me losing myself? After my own sister cried because I smell wrong?” He looked almost sorry. “I did not know it would be this messy. The binding took stronger than expected. Your soul fought harder than most.” I closed the book hard. “Because it is my life. My memories. My scent. You tried to steal all of it.” Lorne stepped around the table. “Take the book. Study the spell. We can do it together. Quietly. No one else needs to know.”

SoulBound: Chosen by Darkness

SoulBound: Chosen by Darkness

Then a staff member touched her arm. The moment vanished. Lena smiled. Turned away. And continued walking. --- By dusk they retreated. Nobody argued. Nobody wanted to stay. The place crawled under their skin. The false peace. The manufactured contentment. The smiles. God. The smiles. --- The bookshop basement was unusually quiet when they returned. People gathered around the central table. Waiting. Watching. Hoping. Bea hated being the one who had to speak first. She rubbed her hands over her face.

MEND ME IF YOU CAN.

MEND ME IF YOU CAN.

If you open it, you’ll lose yourself completely. Soren’s blade glowed white-hot, the runes along its edge blazing with divine fire. He looked at Elara — the woman who still believed in him despite everything — and at Kaius — the friend turned enemy who once shared his soul. “Then maybe that’s what it takes,” he whispered. He lifted the blade high. The world seemed to slow. The Boundless One’s hand reached higher, clawing for the mortal plane. And with a cry that split the heavens, Soren drove the sword into the earth.

Alpha's Eclipse

“You look worse than I do.” “I feel worse,” I muttered. “I need something. A text, a codex, anything older than the Circle of Nine’s archives.” He raised an eyebrow. “Malakar?” I nodded. “Come in.” The room was cramped, filled with makeshift shelves lined with every book he’d brought from the Eastern Keep. The Elders' sleeping mats were rolled to the corners to make space for study. A single lantern lit the room with an amber glow. “I brought a few volumes that may help,” he said, gesturing to a stack by the hearth. “One of them includes references to Umbra-binding and soul-shadow entanglement. Rare, but I remember it mentioning corrupted twins of the spirit.”

“Do you know what that means? Abby. It means Trevor Coleman is coming for you. We’re going to have a big family reunion very soon.” I wanted to say something smug, but I felt a knot tighten In my stomach as I remembered what my mom said earlier. “This place is impenetrable.” if Trevor came here to rescue me, it would be nothing more than a suicide mission. “Don't worry, Abby,” Mr. Gordon grinned. “I won't harm anyone who comes here to rescue you. All your friends would return to their normal lives after the blood moon. I might even let your mom go. But you. You have to die for the greater good.”

He pressed his lips together in resignation, and then forced the corners of his mouth into a half smile. Thanks for reading the preview of the next book in the series, Wolfbitten! If you'd like to keep reading, please search for 'Wolfbitten' on Goodnovel. While this book does introduce some new characters, it also continues the story of Gigi and Tyce. Happy reading!

The SoulBorn Queen

The SoulBorn Queen

Taking a deep breath, the young woman regained her composure and remarked, “I too lived without awareness until I encountered the Word of the Blessed. I was raised in a village strikingly similar to this one—bleak and dismal. Yet, less than a month ago, a friend of my cousin ventured to the border as our tribute to the Witches’ coven—and she has not returned. Now she enjoys wealth and luxury as the bride of a High Wiz, and you could too, if you would just take a moment to—” “She’s probably been sacrificed,” Celina interjected. “That’s why she hasn’t come back. ” Or perhaps worse, I speculated, if a High Wiz had truly whisked a human away to Duskarra. I had yet to meet the pitiless, human-lik
