--Ines POV-- Mermaids are beings that keep to themselves, we don't interfere in the businesses of any other species unless it somehow involves us, that is how its been since the beginning, and it's not something that would be changing. But every now and then, we'd get curious and travel up to the surface. With no intention of speaking to any other species, we'd simply look at the world from an unfamiliar perspective.

We will do it together. "I am going to need all the help I can get, seeing that we do not even know what to expect on Meraki." Keira stared out of the window. Outside it was dark and the galaxy seemed endless. She felt content in this moment, to experience things that few have experienced or seen. The dark was decorated with the most beautiful gems, and far away Earth was getting smaller. A reminder that it is now a memory, one they might never visit again. Keira jumped as a thunderous sound erupted from the ship. Sasha looked at her, eyes widened she instinctively grabbed her buckle.

I said loiing at him "Not at all, now I understand why you said you are a singer" He said and I can't help but laugh sweetly. "We are sirens from the celestial kingdom Oceania," says Yrynhna calming my concerns, as if she could hear my fears in her mind. "We are of pure blood and our marine guards are already in the sea waiting for our signal to finish you off or erase your memory, because nobody can know about our species. Humans are safe now, and the mermaids, we are deeply gratefull to you, werewolf hunters."

However, Aqua was thrilled at the number of stars above them. Parking further from everyone else, Dawn finally killed the engine but let the air conditioner run. “I see it!” Aqua gushed as Dawn helped wind down her window and unfastened her seat belt. “That’s the mermaid, and beside it is the clownfish.” Nodding, Dawn looked up. He didn’t know what Aqua was talking about. However, listening to her babble about astrology in the mermaid language was interesting. Apparently, merfolk astrology differed from the ones humans created.

"Guys look!" The two rippling glowed with faint light. But it wasn't just that. Beneath the water, two figures emerged, their glowing white eyes locked onto the crew. "Mermaids," Theo whispered. The sea calmed immediately as one of the creatures launched herself from the water, landing gracefully on the rocks. Her hair flowed in thick lavender waves, adorned with pastel shells. Her ears curled like snail shells, and her emerald green tail shimmered with flecks of purple as she slammed it against the rocks, cracking a chunk off into the sea.

Cameron asked looking up at their bearded mate. “No,” Talen was amused. “I had only ever seen Mer from a distance, in their water-form, which is quite different to how Niarthen presented himself. I know very little about the Mer, to be honest,” he added thoughtfully. “When I had a sailing fleet, there were areas which were known to sailors that were best avoided. They would say that it was because of sea monsters, or sometimes Mermaids causing shipwrecks. I knew several sailors who swore that they had seen Mermaids, however I was told by my father that Mer only revealed themselves to other supernaturals. Their magic protects them from human eyes.” “Magic isn’t infallible,” Aislen observed.

“Is that?” The woman’s lips lifted, as if she could hear my breathlessness. As if she were pleased to have rendered me speechless. “That is Isla,” Orion replied, “Goddess of the Sea and Queen of the Merfolk.” It was Azrael that approached and explained our desire to seek out the Chasm. The mermaids surrounding Isla seemed to drift closer to the shore, giggling as they drank in the sight of my mate. I couldn’t bring myself to feel jealous, not when I was too busy marveling at them. They were stunning, beautiful in a way that felt otherworldly.

Baselroth peered down and shook her head. "Lower demons?" Momodaeus repeated, scoffing as he did a free fall to the rocky molten lava below. "Someday, you'll lose your ability to fly!" Baselroth said and Momodaeus stuck out his middle finger at her. She watched him float down as if he had an invincible parachute and he landed perfectly on one of the rocks.

Carmen awkwardly waves to all the eyes on here. “I also have a special announcement to make that many of you will be excited to hear.” Arienne pauses for a moment before continuing. “The Moon Goddess has decided to bless me with a second chance mate.” Murmurs spread through the crowd. My breath hitched in my lungs. I pick at my cuticles, waiting for his next words. “Please welcome Amikat Sequora, your new Luna to the pack! Amikat, come up here, please.”
