Chanting Chanting, reciting is a form of magic where something is repeated till the outcome of the spell is shown. Chanting spells was rarely used in Chaos And Apocalypse too. While silent spells work themselves out in your mind, not all spells can be said in the mind. The results to forcing powerful spells in your mind can cause madness, mental issues or death. Chanting can be done unlimited times. Spells are written in three languages, Latin, Spanish and English. Chanting is required for spells that need to be outspoken. Most spells are dormant and do not work when they are not changed in the right language.

She chanted her spell. Her chanting grew louder. "Wind, rain, sun, and moon. Water, fire, wood, and power. Keepers of the magic release your secrets to me. Deep within the center of my being may life's power course free. With the casting of this shadow spell may I wield your mystic power."

Too late. I slip between the threads binding their voices together. Not with force, with precision. I tug. Just once. The youngest witch misses a single word. One. The entire spell lurches violently. “What are you doing?” “Hold it!” “Keep chanting!” Panic flashes across their faces. For the first time… They’re afraid. "You're lying! I don't know you! Sienna must have paid you to frame us!" The sorcerer fell but laughed even more wildly. "Frame you? Alpha Misael, you came with Luna Alayna to my black market that night. You even asked about side effects. Now you won't admit it?" She pulled out a time crystal ball. Inside, the scene showed Alayna asking greedily, "If I use this, the pup inside Sienna's belly will be transferred to mine?" The sorcerer's voice echoed, "Yes, but only if you make the carrier yourself and let her smell it."

“What kind of spell?” “I want to see who was here. It’s a divining spell. I have to be very specific about what I want and then it will show me. In this case, I’m going to ask it to show me who was here. It’s a bit more complicated than that, but that’s the gist.” She says, moving to the center of the room.

The woman was standing by the window when she came in and she didn't even turn around. The Alpha female asked her to look into her future and she did. Taking the woman's palm in her hand and rubbing it to form a connection, she started the process of chanting the spell. The connection began to form and she imagined Mikel in her head, her imagination of a certain person would lead her spell to the person's role in the future and she would see the person's role in the future of the owner of the connection.

She begins chanting in a language Nyx doesn’t recognize, her voice resonant and deep. The energy in the room shifts as the spell takes hold. Nyx feels a tingle along her skin, a strange heaviness settling over her as the room dims, leaving only the glow from the Grandma Healer’s hands. As the elder continues chanting, faint wisps of smoky tendrils begin to rise from the remnants of the case.

The room grew colder, a chill that seeped into my bones. I continued chanting, faster now, the ancient words flowing from my lips like a river. The symbols on the page seemed to glow, pulsing with light. The air crackled with energy, a tangible force that pressed against my skin. Suddenly, a wave of dizziness washed over me. As the final word of the spell left my lips, a deafening scream ripped through the town. They were glowing with a pale, arctic blue. "Channell it," I urged. "Direct it into the circle. Bind the rogues to your soul." I began the chant, the ancient words vibrating in my chest. The energy began to swirl around the circle, a whirlwind of grey mist and blue sparks. But the energy didn't stay in the circle. Raven let out a cry, her head snapping back. The power inside her didn't just flow; it erupted. It was like a dam breaking. The blue light flared, blindingly bright, and a wave of absolute cold exploded from her body.

She cocked her head to the side, "Really? The girl who achieved tempus summatum - the hardest, deadliest spell there is - don't know how to light a little cigarette?"
