Astrid’s POV: My saviour witch, Helena, stood in the center of a circle of candles, each flickering with a different colored flame. With her eyes closed, she chanted in an unfamiliar language, causing the air around her to shimmer and twist as if reality was bending under the immense power of her spell. Suddenly, a burst of energy erupted from the circle, sending a shockwave through the room. When she opened her eyes, a small object materialized in her hand, glowing with an otherworldly light. She smiled, knowing that her little ritual had been successful.

I murmured, lifting my hands in front of me. Daemon sighed but did as I asked and stepped back. I closed my eyes, inhaled deeply and started to recite the spell. “Dorchadas folaigh mé, scáthanna glac le m’anam, gan rian, gan scáil, gan amharc orm.” The last syllable left my lips and a sweeping rush of energy poured back into me. It was invigorating, like a gust of cold wind against hot flesh. The outline of my body wavered before it disappeared completely.

I tell them and Alpha Hunter shakes his head yes and says, “I have faith that you can do it Luna Willow.” Moving toward Alpha Hunter, I stop when I am a foot in front of him and raise my hands in the air towards him and begin to chant the spell that I was taught a few months ago by our High Priestess Emma. As I chanted the words I was taught, I felt the magic within me come to life as it moved towards my hands. Once I could feel the spell form, I moved the energy from me to Alpha Hunter. After I felt it completely leave me, I lowered my hands and said, “It is done.”

Sawyer's expression turned monstrous, his eyes glinting venomously. Chandler nodded, staring at Wilbur. "You asked for this." Upon saying the words, Chandler let out a loud roar as he cast several spells in a row. "Way of Thunder!" A thick stripe of thunder shot out of his hands, hurtling toward Wilbur. This was a mid-tier spell, the Way of Thunder. Thunder spells had particularly terrifying destructive powers, and a Sanctuary level cultivator was skilled enough to wield them in a way that would have any Ambience level cultivator dead or at least heavily wounded.

I follow her posture and sit on the cushion next to her. "Now, close your eyes and breathe in. Hold your breath for a second, and release it, slowly. In a moment, you shall hear the physicians start to chant the spell. Listen to it, hold onto it. No matter what happens, don't let it go. Concentration and focus are necessary." She gets up, "The spell will transport you within your mind, and the phantoms will come for you. Defeat them and hold onto the chant. Keep your mind focused on your goal. As soon as you defeat a demon, the barrier will start to chip."
