Some had delicate wings folded against their backs, transparent and shining like glass.
“Woah,” Jace whispered, his eyes wide.
Celina elbowed him. “Shut it. But…yeah…woah.”
He leaned closer, lowering his voice. “I mean look at them. They don’t even walk, they glide.”
“Shush,” she muttered again, but her own eyes were just as wide as his.
As the group of fairies entered, the hall seemed to grow even brighter. A soft wind stirred the air as small glowing orbs floated in, moving like fireflies above everyone’s heads. They gathered in the center of the hall, forming a ring of light.
