Spell Inquiring Novels & Stories

This spell feels cold but the wind it blows whistles a certain melody that would tame the wolf. "Hessuel... he who resonates the song of your howl in the soul of your listeners, that is the meaning of your name. Hessuel, if you can hear me, come forth to my voice and extend your hand," I recited, then close my eyes while stretching my hand to him. The process of this spell includes diving into the thoughts of the wolf to search for that slumbering intelligence. However, all I see is pure darkness within him. "Hessuel? Hessuel... can you hear me? Hessuel?"

the wizard stated. “What is the Inca spell though?” Levi asked with curiosity written on his face. The wizard smiled once again, loving their curiosity at its finest. He needed to be detailed about all he was going to do and that was exactly what he was doing. “It is an ancient spell that diffuse mystical holograms” this amazed everyone and Mason in particular wasn’t satisfied with the explanation and so asked. “Mystical holograms? What is that?” the wizard turned and looked at him. He was aware that the question would eventually fall out. Reminiscing over the use of the magic, the wizard knew he needed to explain all in very important details.

The Seer’s expression sharpened instantly. “She was casting the spell on me.” I went ahead to tell her the vision and the Seer listened without interrupting once. By the end of it, her face had gone disturbingly serious. She closed her eyes slowly, breathing deeply like she was searching through memories of her own. Then finally— When her eyes opened again, something uneasy sat behind them. “Spells have auras,” she said quietly. I frowned slightly. “What does that mean?” “Every spell carries traces of its origin.” She stepped closer carefully. “A skilled witch can identify what kind of magic was used simply by sensing its residue.”

Judging by everyone's faces they thought this was going to be easy… “So this is the spell you will chant. It is in Latin, so you may need to practice it. I will have Kiera write it down for everyone. It goes like this. ‘Datum etiam ex innocenti sanguine. Fueled ignis, weilded magicae. Et adfer immolabunt et aperire portas et inter regna petas.’ I know it’s kind of long, but it’s necessary.” I said. Kiera started writing and she made a sheet for everyone to practice. It actually seemed easy for the Reavers, as they know all languages. So they just needed to have the sheet to read when the time came.

There was nothing else she could say in others' presence. Alpha Samuel's lips had thinned. His gaze remained a touch hostile. Erica had not really warmed up to him. Before leaving the study, she leaned closer to luna Freida and whispered, "The spell is 'ወደ እንግሊዝኛ ይቀይሩ'." She did not say anything more lest Alpha Samuel's suspicion rises even more. Luna Freida mutely nodded. ~~~~

It's not Latin or any other language I am conversant with. However, under the foreign text, it seems someone has translated the language and also in a neat handwriting. The discovery instantly makes me feel so much better. Slowly, I read the translated text. And then, I read it again. “No,” I whisper. “Yes,” Fiona says. The translated text is a spell called ‘The Severance’, and the spell is designed to steal power from one source and transfer it to another. Specifically, the spell can steal a Trueblood’s power and give it to someone else.

Lucifer snorted angrily. "I didn't know it belonged to Melissa and why would I ever bother to read words on jewels and for your advice since when people started to write on jewels like seriously, aren't paper was enough?" My mother was as angry as Lucifer. He gritted his teeth as the glint of anger flashed through his eyes. "Spell, you said? What does that mean?" I mumbled quietly. "I don't know, it's an ancient spell and I'm not strong enough to understand it," she shrugged her shoulders before sitting down next to me.

“But… how did she tell you all the names?! How could she even know them all, not to mention memorize them! Her?!” “She didn't have to,” I smirked, “All she had to do was to see the list of the names, or meet those people once. It was written in her memory, even though she would never recall it herself, my spell can drag this information out of her despite her knowing it consciously,” I explained boastfully. He burst out into malicious laughter, then pulled out his phone and picked someone's number, glancing at me. “Chris, come, and take Elijah with you as well,” he ordered calling.

“How have you been able to get around it?” “We tested it with the rogue yesterday. Damien had an idea to use non verbal questions and answers since Leya told him the spell most likely has to do with what they say out loud, not what they think.” “That’s very clever.” There are a couple easy questions thrown out and answered, but the biggest reveal is still yet to come. It was Alec, and I knew it would be, that had the question I was waiting on. “You said this may involve members of our pack, but so far there hasn’t been anything said that would lead to the pack. What else do you have?” Here goes the bomb.

Alfred got responses from his spirit guides, who were helping him get details on the spell. The fact that one of those spirits actually risked tracking done the caster of the spell to ensure he was reporting about the correct spell caster made things go slower for Alfred. The spirit came back with a good deal of information about who and why she was doing this. Alfred wasn’t talking about of his butt or making assumptions. They vetted his information before he ever spoke any of it. He used the if and possibly terminology to make the wolves feel more at ease at the facts he was revealing.
