I feel the brief sting of familiar pain as my legs fuse together and erupt with scales as my feet fan out into long fins while a set of fins grow from the sides of my hips. I break through the normally chilly waters, that to my skin feel warm, and flip my fins swimming deeper, stretching my tail out for the first time in weeks. Not to brag… much, but I think I have the most stunning tail in the entire kingdom. My tail is 7 feet long with fins that span an extra 5 feet bringing my tail to 12 feet in total. My scales are a greyish blue that fade into royal blue and are shaped more like small feathers as opposed to scales. My fins are thin like chiffon but have the most gorgeous pattern on them

A bell was rung that instant and a man unclad in the upper part of his chest, walked in tugging a chain. “No way!”, Dragomir said through clenched teeth. The large head of a dragon shot out through the curtains behind the stage, it was black and huge. Spikes on the head. It's powerful forelegs and webbed toes revealed long sharp claws that shot out first. “Wow!”, Raisel’s mouth hung open. The entire gathering mirrored her exact expression except of course Dragomir. He sat back and stared at the dragon as it moved about, it was almost like it was on a runway. It was big definitely but Dragomir could swear on anything that it wasn’t a real dragon.

she whispered, her voice choked with emotion. The Siren Queen locked eyes with Nocturna for what felt like an eternity. Then, with a swift movement, she plucked a single, shimmering scale from her tail and handed it to Nocturna. "This is the Echo Scale. It will guide you through the Silent Spell and protect you from deceit. But be warned," she added ominously, "betray us, and its protection will become your doom."

I explain. Talon has scales that look like obsidian and gleaming claws on his wings that match the spikes running down his back and tail. The end of his tail is barbed and look just as sharp as his talons. Talon and Kailo’s dragon both stretch out their wings and I am shocked to see that Lyza’s dragon is bigger by a few feet, however much slenderer and appears to be less muscular. “Let the challenge begin!” King Adarath’s voice rings out.

The beast did not care about her spoon story. It came at her again. Both claws swiping. Its spiked tail whipping around from the other side, trying to catch her in the back. The tail had barbs on it, sharp and curved, the kind that would tear flesh on the way out. Kaelithra ducked under the claws. She felt the wind of them passing over her head. Then she jumped over the tail, tucking her knees to her chest, feeling the barbs brush against the soles of her borrowed boots.

His scales were beautiful. They shone just like real gold and he knew at the back of his mind that its authenticity couldn't be questioned. Why else would Rachel go after him so shamelessly? Dylan's horn had shrunk in size, but the similar colored sharp growth was just as mesmerizing as his scales. He couldn't even get started on his tail. A real tail. Something hot and slick snapped around her forearm before she could say anything else. Pain flared as a salamander’s tail whipped around her arm, the skin burning where it touched, the scales wet and molten like half-cooled lava. The creature yanked, trying to drag her off her feet. Her wind tattoo reacted on instinct. The black ribbon of air coiled around the tail, tightening like a constrictor. There was a sharp, horrible scream as the salamander howled in pain, its grip faltering. It hurled a ball of fire at her in blind retaliation, a blazing sphere that would have taken her head off if it landed.

Caya shouted. “You wish, bitch. I trained so hard. You can’t easily enslave me with this lame spell of yours. You only took control of my body but not my mind, not my will to fight,” Deborah shouted back and then the bull mark on her thigh glowed brightly. “Celestial Magic: Taurus’ Vengeance!” she said fiercely. The light arrows buried in her arms were broken into two and Caya's spell disintegrated into thin air. In an instant, there were many created fissures on the ground.

Tearing into the water with ease, she showed off her sharp maneuvers before fully coming into sight. Her hair was golden and damp, sticking to her face and almost covering it. She looked so stunning that it took me several seconds to take in her fully transformed body. The tips of her fingers were webbed and had grown sharp talons. Bony spikes jutted out all along her spine but they were so translucent they would be invisible to a human eye. The most noticeable of all was her breathtakingly beautiful blue and gold fishtail — the same colors as the dress she wore tonight. Without breaking eye contact, she glided towards me in soft strokes, the curve of her perky breasts teasing me to death as
