Amelia replied, shaking her head as she sat close to Ana. "Ana." Reid whispered, looking down at her. He surely hates her guts. But seeing her this way broke his heart. He never wished her dead. He wished she could stop her evil plans and be normal. He wanted to have a normal relationship with her, just like every other sibling had. He dropped to the ground beside her, pulling her up to rest against his laps. "Hey, look at me." He called in a small voice. To be honest, he never thought it would be so devastating to see her this way. He thought he might just ignore since she has never been nice to him but he couldn't. He wasn't like her after all. He had a good heart.

She took it out and read out the letter. Dearest Hannah, I know that you wouldn’t listen to me. But hear me out. Remember when I told you that Reid wanted to shape himself up? That’s because he was rejected but he found a girl whom he wanted to be better for. Cassie chuckled, her gaze lingering on Sarah. Sarah turned back to the counter, pretending to wipe something that wasn’t there. Cassie leaned in, her voice dropping, conspiratorial. “So? Did you do the deed yet?” Sarah nearly dropped the rag. Her face went from flushed to blazing. “What? No! Absolutely not!” The thought alone made her heart race. “Really?” Cassie looked genuinely shocked, her brows arched high. “You’re telling me you’ve got Jax Reaper Reed kissing your soul outta your mouth and you haven’t gotten naked yet?”

(Rachael) I had fun spending time with Xander and his father over the weekend, but now it was time to head back to work. After waving goodbye to Cole, who left for school with Mariah, I was now getting ready for work with a smile on my face. I shook my head as I remembered how Xander kept on glaring at Amy while being stubborn and not talking to her. Biting my lip to keep myself rom groaning, I do my best to try and ignore it. "Are you alright? You look... anxious?" my brother questions me suddenly, his eyes full of curiously but I only smile in return. "I'm great! Not anxious, at all." I lie. He narrows his eyes a bit but thankfully doesn't push the issue. A couple more hours go by and the heat within me only continues to grow stronger, making it extremely difficult to ignore.

Chapter Thirty Three: Reincarnation Xander did not move. Freya remained on her knees, clutching his legs weakly. Tears streamed down her face uncontrollably now. “It wasn't supposed to go this far,” she whispered desperately. “Xander please… please listen to me…I was angry, i felt humiliated. But i do love you deep down. I was just scared of opening up and getting hurt.” He slowly stepped back. Her hands slipped from his legs. The movement felt worse than a slap.

Chapter 11 Spencer When I first approached her fire, I had every intention of claiming her right then, but she looked so cold and miserable that I couldn’t bring myself to do it yet. Instead, it seemed kinder to allow her time to rest, and she was reasonably safe with me. It would’ve taken a brazen hunter to try to take her when I was sitting just a few feet away. If one had been brave enough, he would’ve quickly realized the error of his ways, because I wouldn’t tolerate anyone putting their hands on her, or trying to claim her as theirs. I wish I knew who had ripped her shirt, because I would have hunted down his ass too.

The words sat in the middle of the kitchen between us and I didn't know what to do with any of them. "Spencer," I said. "I'm not angry at you," he said. "I want to be clear about that. I'm not angry. What happened in that hallway wasn't something you planned and I believe you that you pulled back." He looked at the table. "I'm just tired. I'm tired of being the patient one. I'm tired of watching you carry something you won't put down and pretending I don't see it." He looked up. "And I'm tired of being jealous of a man who doesn't deserve to be stood next to me and feeling guilty about it at the same time."
