Spencer shouts at me. He steps towards me, and I take an instinctual step away in fear. When he sees my fright, though, he doesn’t back down at all. Instead, his anger only seems to grow. Spencer bares his teeth at me. “What did he say?” He repeats harshly. “He didn’t say anything!” I shout back, glaring at him with clenched fists. “Believe it or not, Spencer, it doesn’t take much convincing for me to not want someone torn apart over some petty sibling rivalry. Grow up.”

Cassie chuckled, her gaze lingering on Sarah. Sarah turned back to the counter, pretending to wipe something that wasn’t there. Cassie leaned in, her voice dropping, conspiratorial. “So? Did you do the deed yet?” Sarah nearly dropped the rag. Her face went from flushed to blazing. “What? No! Absolutely not!” The thought alone made her heart race. “Really?” Cassie looked genuinely shocked, her brows arched high. “You’re telling me you’ve got Jax Reaper Reed kissing your soul outta your mouth and you haven’t gotten naked yet?”

Myself and Ezra were playing a game of cards, bonding and catching up as we went, when I suddenly feel that familiar heat begin to creep back up. Biting my lip to keep myself rom groaning, I do my best to try and ignore it. "Are you alright? You look... anxious?" my brother questions me suddenly, his eyes full of curiously but I only smile in return. "I'm great! Not anxious, at all." I lie. He narrows his eyes a bit but thankfully doesn't push the issue. A couple more hours go by and the heat within me only continues to grow stronger, making it extremely difficult to ignore.

Amelia replied, shaking her head as she sat close to Ana. "Ana." Reid whispered, looking down at her. He surely hates her guts. But seeing her this way broke his heart. He never wished her dead. He wished she could stop her evil plans and be normal. He wanted to have a normal relationship with her, just like every other sibling had. He dropped to the ground beside her, pulling her up to rest against his laps. "Hey, look at me." He called in a small voice. To be honest, he never thought it would be so devastating to see her this way. He thought he might just ignore since she has never been nice to him but he couldn't. He wasn't like her after all. He had a good heart.

Reid answered and Ezra nodded his head, he stood up and entered the car, mind linking Austin as he drove out of the compound. She peered at the jade-green orbs, searching for something. Slowly she realized that this man didn’t know her. He was not Charles. If he was Charles, he couldn’t conceal his excitement to see her. But this man’s gaze was indifferent, devoid of emotions. Although he was smiling, that smile was cold. She always felt warmth around Charles, but she could feel nothing but chill with this man. His body was emitting the aura of dominance. His gaze was so sharp that she felt like he was staring at her soul. She was uncomfortable, and she felt oppressed
