She snapped at him. He wanted to argue but he knew she was right but for the love of her, there was only one insect he couldn't stand and that was spiders. Just the fact that it was staring at him with his eight eyes scared the shit out of him. Why would nature even believe that something needs so many eyes? He had two and he could see just fine. Also, he could never understand why they had to crawl like that, couldn't they simply walk normally! Just thinking about them were giving him cold sweats.

It's the middle of the night, why did I wake up at this hour? But then I felt something... No, it was several things, and they were under my sheet, I felt them on my skin, lightning! They were like ants, I felt them running down my legs, but apparently they were big ants. With my trembling hand I removed my blanket from my body and opened my eyes in amazement. Its body was massive, its legs as thick as tree trunks, its many eyes glowing an eerie green. Webbing dripped from its fangs, which were long and razor-sharp.
