Lahnthean Aria

Lahnthean Aria

She would be alive and they would both survive. The thought helped Noorh gather his remaining strength to cast a spell strong enough to get them to safety and deplete his energy. His dark eyes turned into a pair of brightly glowing sapphires. He felt his grip on the stone step weaken and his body slip further down as magic flowed and hummed around him, stripping him of much needed energy. Noorh saw the darkness creep into his vision. It clouded his senses as a bluish silver circle of flickering symbols appeared underneath his feet and supported his weight. It then propelled him upward, allowing him to climb over the step with Kiran still safely secured in his arms.

Wrong number

Wrong number

I placed my hand akimbo and wondered how I was going to get over and into the building with a giant obstacle. "Eureka!" I whisper yelled to myself. The gate was fancy enough but it was made of horizontal metals that connected each vertical row to the other. I placed my feet on the first steps and my hands on the steps I could attain in my fully stretched size and began the climbing phase. I didn't know how long it took but I got to the top eventually. I turned around and placed my feet on the steps but this time, in the building. My heart was equally trembling along with my limbs. "Don't look down Nikki, don't look down." I pleased with myself but knowing the stubborn bitch that I was, it wa

and the weirdest one was Phil, he collects enough gravel in the ground and carries it along with the bones of the Tank that we slew earlier as we go back to our hideout we've found that there is a flood of zombies on the road so we don't have any choice to use the ropes that Dessa's group use when they first scavenge the procedure was long and time-consuming but it was the safest route especially we defeated already the nearest witch in the area surprisingly Bhlezy and Kaye climb the rope easily without breaking a sweat but when Jimboy try it, it takes many minutes for him to climb due to he was afraid in height, what a baby my turn has come "okay Jimboy let me teach you how to climb the rop

Surviving Dallas (The Brown Series)

Surviving Dallas (The Brown Series)

Brock asked as he squatted in the floor next to her. “You and this spook house. That’s what happened to me,” Nicole said defensively. “How did you get inside the wall?” Lexi asked. “Lindsay and I were in the hallway upstairs. We were about to go to the attic to look around. But, Lindsay had to go to the bathroom. I waited for her in the hallway. I sat down in a chair in the hallway to wait for her. When I put my arm on the chair, I felt what I thought was a button. I pressed it, and the next thing I knew was that I got spun into the wall. It was pitch-dark in there. Luckily, I had a keychain flashlight, which was attached to my car keys.”

She's An Alpha And He's A Human.

She's An Alpha And He's A Human.

After a minute or so, he shook his head. "There are too many." "What is the loudest sound you can hear now?" "The waterfall." He aswered with a shrug. I closed my eyes and focused on every little noise i can hear. Even though the water fall was too loud, i can hear the smallest insects flying from a mile away with out a problem. "There is a spider bulding her web somewhere in these woods. Try to find her." Noah did as i asked and he closed his eyes to try listening to the spider.

The Rogue Kings I

The Rogue Kings I

*** Solaris POV *** My eyes narrowed as I looked at the slight movement in the corner of my eyes. It scurried along the floor and just as it went to run by me, I stepped on it. The crunch was loud but set down the crate I was carrying to inspect the now dead insect. It was a cockroach, full grown. Not only was it not the season for them but Finn and I went to great lengths to make sure this place was bug free. It was one of Noah’s greatest fears and really his only one. Cockroaches were on the top of that list next to spiders and centipedes.

This story pulled at every frickin string of emotion. I had started questioning myself if I could make or come to terms with those same decisions. Tbh, I am still unsure. The author had done amazing job writing this extremely thought provoking story! I can't wait for what book 2 will bring!

The Alpha Prince's Rejected Mate

The Alpha Prince's Rejected Mate

My paws sink into the soft, springy moss that carpets the forest floor, each step silent as I advance cautiously. The usual forest sounds have faded to an unnerving silence. No birds call from the branches overhead, no small creatures rustle through the underbrush. Even the breeze seems to hold its breath in this sacred place. Yet curiosity burns through me like wildfire. What brought Knox here in the dead of night? What secrets lie deeper within this strange grove that feels both ancient and alive? I take another tentative step forward, drawn by that lingering scent and the mystery it promises. The blue-glowing fungi illuminate a narrow path between towering trees, almost like an invitation

I Dare You, Alpha Jones Capturing His Pet

I Dare You, Alpha Jones Capturing His Pet

“We don’t have climbing equipment, and the column is solid stone. I don’t see any cracks or veins. It would take days or weeks to work our way up making footholds if we had the gear. That’s if anyone knew how to use it. I’ve only gone to a rock-climbing gym a few times.” “That’s more than anyone else. I don’t like heights. That’s not true, I’m terrified of them. If I can’t climb past twelve feet without a ladder or stairs.” “It doesn’t matter. We can’t wait for someone to come bring her down to work. They’ll catch and kill us. So, how do they get her down? Is there a pully system? Or do they use magic? If you can’t use your ability Raven, then how do they do it?”

His Unlovable Mate

His Unlovable Mate

Then, if the Goddess is willing, I can end Elder Brent’s ruthless existence too. Gritting my teeth, I test the banner. I can’t make any noise or start swinging about dramatically. Thankfully Elle’s insane extravagance pays off in my favour. Huge loops of rope form a frayed edge pattern. Intended to look like lacework, I have instead gained footholds. I can climb this. I can do it. “Come on. Come let’s do this,” I whispered. “It’s time.” Gritting my teeth, I started my climb. Within minutes, I despised the fact Elle’s room was on the eighth floor. Making sure to secure my boot in each loop hole, I fought against waves of fearful dizziness.

This book had me on a roller coaster of emotions! I can’t honestly say I’ve never heard a story line like this. The story captures you in the first few chapters and have you chase a high that seems to come and then leave just like that. What an amazing journey this book has taken me on. U must read.

Good writing. Excellent world building and storytelling voice. Characters are really interesting, each has their own characteristics. I’m happy this was worth the purchase. A mixture of scenery and to the point dialect. Just work on punctuation placements in areas, this will help with flow.

Everlasting Fire

Everlasting Fire

His black claws dug into the dark earth. “Come on, little one. It’s time to go.” Ophir’s voice echoed in my head. “I don’t think I will ever get used to that.” A low chuckle rang through my head. Sending chills down my spine. His purple eyes tracked my movements as I approached him. Looking for a way to climb up safely. I don’t even know how I climbed up on him last night without hurting myself. His scales were warm as I gripped them. I felt Ophir shift his wing to allow me some more room to climb. I gripped a spike and pulled myself up, placing my foot on another spike to give myself enough momentum to swing up onto his back.
