His voice cut through the panic like a knife. “It’s not happening again.” I looked at him blindly. “Look at me,” he snapped. My trembling gaze locked onto those frozen blue eyes. For one terrifying second, I saw something unexpected inside them. Fear. Not for himself. For me. Then the creature shrieked. The sound ripped through the docks like grinding steel. Every Ravager Hunter raised their weapons instantly. But the Stalker ignored them. Its head snapped toward me. Toward weakness. Toward prey. “Oh, hell,” one mercenary muttered.

“I shouldn’t have jumped to conclusions. It’s just… things have just been so weird at my house, and I’m scared. Strange noises, objects moving on their own, and last night, I saw something in the mirror… it was like a weird skull of sorts. Please, I need your help to get to the bottom of this.” He shook his head and turned to walk away, but Natalie chased after him. “Parker please, I’m so sorry.” Parker stopped, his shoulders tense. He turned back to her, the hurt still evident in his eyes. “You really think I’d do something like that to you?”

Alissa could now see a dangerous gleam in his eyes, that she had missed when she was head over heels. "I see. What were you up to yesterday?" Alissa's eyes widened, her brain sent warning bells. Why was he asking? Did he want to eliminate his next victim? "I, I was at my dorm. I wasn't feeling so well."

Shawn jumped up and grabbed the shotgun that was hanging over the fireplace. "Chillout! It's probably just a local," I said irritably and went to check. Someone lightly knocked on the door again. Doesn't seem like a killer. I opened the door, and my eyes turned big. A girl stood there wearing a skimpy nurse's uniform, paired with fishnets. She had long legs and big boobs. A big smile plastered on her face. "Um...can I help you?" I asked. Who the fuck ordered a stripper in the mountains?

"Thanks so much." Logan gave the old female some coins before they left and continued their tour. "This is the territory of the Clan of the ghost" he uttered pointing at the huge kingdom before them. His tall stature and aloof demeanor made her feel small and defenseless. "We've finally met, my creepy stalker," Sumire remarked wryly upon encountering her unsettling pursuer. The man possesses a large and imposing physique. Loomed over her, his actions and presence exuding a sense of darkness and threat. He leaned in closely, his lips exploring every corner of her skin, as his red eyes, brightened by her intoxicating scent, fixated on her. Dark and foreboding, a sinister grin appeared on his face, and a fang extended slowly, adding an eerie touch to the encounter. In a deep, husky, and compelling tone, he murmurs.

Disappeared.” Vanessa scoffed. “And every small town has its local ghost story. There’s no documented evidence.”
