Jes lowered her head again, walking slowly toward Adam. In the room there was only one long sofa, so Jes was forced to sit on the one sofa with Adam. She sat at the very end, while Adam had been sitting at the very end. They were like strangers sitting in the waiting chairs of the hospital. Adam prepared a steak with black paper sauce complete with salad, Jes' favorite food. He understood very well, years of stalking Jes.
