Atrocious replied, rubbing an orb on the armrest of his chair. "Reveal? What do you have to reveal?" Draco raised an eyebrow, realizing that it must be serious if Atrocious was acting this way. Atrocious was never one to think or worry so much about anything and when he does, it meant it was something to be taken very seriously. Atrocious sighed heavily, picked up the orb, and muttered a spell. The orb became surrounded by a mist of emerald color, and an obscure figure appeared within it. "It's a curse. Standing on a stone altar was a woman with eyes just like mine. A crown of light. A sea of flames.

“And Carter’s.” My throat tightened. “Explain.” Phineas touched the stone with the tip of his finger, and red light bled across its surface, swirling into shifting images—firestorms, shadows with eyes, two figures battling beneath a sky split open by light and darkness. One figure radiated blinding gold. The other bled red and black like a living wound. My pulse stuttered. “That’s—” “—you,” Phineas finished quietly. “And the boy you are trying to save.”

And he held out his hand— Revealing the Luna Star. The last relic. Stolen. Glowing. Corrupted.

"But I am confused as to what that has to do with me." Ivan reaches into his jacket and I brace myself, suddenly feeling exposed. He pulls out an envelope and extends it to me. I take it, throwing a confused look his way. I note the heaviness of the envelope. Opening it, I flip through the pictures. The images depict Ivan's warehouse in various states of destruction with several of his men injured or killed. One photograph catches my eye, however. The wall has a graffiti styled writing on it: "Erebus." A chill runs down my spine when I realise the implications.
