But he had already rushed past her and pulled me into a tight embrace. "Elena, I'm sorry. I was wrong." His voice was choked with sobs. "It was all my fault." I stood there, rigid, feeling the warmth of his body. The embrace I once craved now just filled me with disgust. "You have the wrong person." I pushed him away, my voice cold. "My name is Aria." He shot his hand up and tore the silver mask from my face. Our eyes met. He stared at my face, greedy, his fingers trembling as he reached out to touch my cheek.

The Wrong Child

The Wrong Child

The one who spoke was Scott’s rival for the team lead position, Conner Schultz. He had been lurking in the crowd the whole time. Now that he’d caught Scott slipping, the excitement on his face was impossible to hide. "Y-You… Why are all of you here?!" Scott completely fell apart. Seizing the moment, the two bodyguards stepped in, pulling him away from us, one on each side. Seeing her son being handled like that, Elaine rushed forward in a panic, shielding him. "Hey! What are you doing?! Let go of my son!"

Sweet Justice

Sweet Justice

she explained, shaking her head. "I imagine, the guy has a name in the legal market, whether he likes it or not he's quite young, and many people must be envious of him. "All of this because he knows the owner of Titã, from what I've heard he also got the position of team leader through favoritism, and they say he shouldn't have a woman on his team because he's a womanizer," Tatiane spoke quietly so that no one could hear.

He nods and goes to get our orders. " It's complicated." " You know it's not. He cheated, left and then came back into your life. What about Ren? He's pretty amazing." " Yes, he's amazing, but he's nothing compared to Stevie." She bites her lip and looks anywhere else but me.

Meanwhile, he had bravely shot a criminal while she had been right next to him without caring that he might accidentally hurt her. How absurd! His preferential treatment couldn't be more obvious. "Nate, I have something to tell you. Let's go to your office." Sally tugged Nathan away. Lucas struggled to push himself up and begged, "I'm sorry, General. Can you please forgive me?" Nathan allowed Sally to lead him away. Without turning around, he said, "I'll leave this decision to Suzanne." Lucas immediately staggered over to Suzanne and apologized. "I'm sorry, Madam. I'm very loyal to General. Please don't dismiss me. I—"

The story between Chubs and Nate got pretty dragging but I can't complaint, since I did end up loving this novel more than I thought I would. Halfway through 1088 chapters, things got more interesting and the ending was pretty good. Thanks for making the stories worth reading.

I really like the book, i've been stuck on it since i've found it .. it's just that the chapters are too short, it's basically a money grab... irritating that you can't read for at least 2-5 mins without having to pay for a new chapter.

Mr.Wrong

Mr.Wrong

I wanted him to pay for his sins. Present Day Eva watched me, her expression unreadable. “So now that I am useless to you, what are you going to do?” she asked, her voice laced with bitterness. I smirked. “You might not be useful to me anymore, but someone else is.” Eva’s brows furrowed. “Who?” I leaned back in my chair, crossing my arms. “The person who turned Mr. Right into Mr. Wrong.” Eva’s eyes darkened with intrigue. “Who?”

"You need to talk to Logan, fast! He's the one who got me this position. Now I'm being kicked out for no reason, he can't just wash his hands of this! You have to make him give me my job back!" Ethan Reed was ranting angrily, then suddenly, as if he remembered something, his tone shifted, laced with a hint of condescension. "Forget it, I don't care about that crappy company anyway. You go contact your family elders again, get me introductions to a few more powerful werewolf organizations. I need to choose carefully. After all, I'm destined to be a great leader."

Promised to the Wrong Alpha

Promised to the Wrong Alpha

I was making my way around the stainless steel worktable when my foot nearly connected with something on the floor, and I pulled up short. Freddy was sitting there — long legs folded up, arms wrapped around his knees, rocking slightly, staring at the ovens with the expression of a boy who had done something he could not undo. “What have I done,” he was murmuring. “What have I done, oh god oh god oh god—” “Freddy?” He looked up. His face was pale and tear-streaked, his eyes enormous. “I’m in deep trouble, Luna. I messed up real bad.”
