I hadn't noticed I was collapsing until she kept me from hitting the floor. Bracing my hand on a nearby table, I push myself up on unsteady ankles. "Ulyana ... I ... A thin white-gold chain with a small diamond pendant shaped like a single star. Simple, brilliant, like the way Isabelle lit up every room she walked into without trying. “That one,” I said.
