Kristopher raised his head in the sky and saw even in the velvet dark there is a light of the stars, the stars so brilliant they drew the eyes heaven-bound, the lyrics of the starry night played softly on his mind.
He felt a raindrop fall against his skin, followed by several others, but he didn't have the heart to go back inside. He moved over and sat on the gate of the terrace, crossing one leg over the other, leaning back on the sofa chair to observe the remaining constellations uncovered from the clouds.
The moon hung full and hazy beneath and the eclipse of blazing stars, allowing him to see the raindrops of the identically bleak buildings surrounding his own.
