A young man strode out from it. He stood a few yards away from the men. He was difficult to identify; for his face was partly covered in blood. When he came close, the men cringed in fright, for he wore a skirt of bearskin like theirs. From his belly to his head was bare save for the blood that covered his face, and he had in his right hand, a glittering sword, which he held upward, keeping its sharpest tip above his head. With his left hand, he held a man’s head which had been cut off from the body.

And then once again, I hear footsteps coming towards me, catching my attention and making me look up, and there he was, standing there, towering over my crying form. He looks at me with worry, eyebrows furrowed together while his breathing jagged, his hair was disheveled from his late run. I sniffed and tried to relax my breath but failed. He looked at the quiet house behind me and was suddenly confused by my night camping. Without any other word, he crouched beside me on the pavement and accompany me. An indication of fierceness surfaced on Joe's face again. Just like a classic scene from most movies and TV shows, he took a pillow beside him and aggressively covered Capra's face with it. Capra began to struggle, but he didn't struggle for long before his entire body went soft.

The air in the pod was escaping through the cracks in the walls. The whistling sound was like a scream that wouldn't end. I stared at the man standing in the doorway. He looked like Rowan, but he was taller, colder, and wrapped in a cape of violet smoke. The crown on his head hummed with the power of a thousand stolen suns. "Rowan?" I choked out. My lungs were burning. "How many times do I have to watch you die? How many times do they have to bring you back as a monster?"
