Weathering the Storm

Weathering the Storm

“I can’t excuse their behavior but I want to at least try to understand it.” “I can see that, my love. The only flaw you have in the reasoning is you can’t explain insanity. It runs through your family like wildfires. I just don’t want you to get burned because you want to understand something that would only make sense to them. I have seen a lot of things on the job but none of them come close to this. You saved twenty people yesterday. You saved them Deanna. Take that to heart. You may have saved your nieces and nephews as well from years of mental and sexual abuse to become the next generation involved with your family’s curse.” Max said softly as he took her to the couch and sat down tak

VINCENZO: MATED TO MY BEST FRIEND'S DADDY.

VINCENZO: MATED TO MY BEST FRIEND'S DADDY.

And then I did and everything turned topsy turvy. ' go back to the pack house.' Mia growled within. "I can not come all this way and return without her. That would be absolute madness. A windstorm started. I was forced to stay fixated on a spot as the wind intensified. My hair was wild, caught in the wind, almost off my scalp. I started to walk through the turbulence. The sky had gone dark..it might be an indication that it would rain or that the moon goddess was trying to mess with us.

The Twins Who Claimed Me

The Twins Who Claimed Me

Which means it’s working. I used the key. They remember you. More than that—they respect you. I think… I think this place can change. Not quickly. Not easily. But it can. You were right about everything. I hate that you’re always right. A man here asked me what made you different. I told him the truth. You didn’t try to win the world. You just refused to let it stay broken. —K --- ### The Return of the Wind Winter came fully to the Crags.

Where The Summer Wind Blows (book One)

Where The Summer Wind Blows (book One)

Gemma let herself inhale deeply, savoring the moment, the delicate tension, the infinite possibilities. And somewhere, in the hum of the cicadas, the creak of the porch boards, and the gentle stir of the wind, Gemma whispered to her self, a quiet, reverent acknowledgment of what the night had become: “This is where the summer wind blows.”

Lilith And Her Three Devil Wolves

Lilith And Her Three Devil Wolves

"I'll wait for the rescue team. They'll have a proper shower." "Rescue isn't coming for months, you stupid girl," Vane growls. He sets the bourbon down with a thud. "Now strip, or I'll rip those rags off you myself. I can smell the mud and the Stain from here, and it's making me lose my fucking mind." My whole body goes hot, then cold. The Stain. That's what they call the scent of an omega in Heat. I've heard the term whispered in drawing rooms, scandalized. Now it's on me. It's pouring out of me.

The Omega’s Redemption

The Omega’s Redemption

As the winds settled, Xienma, Xavier, and Cassie felt the exhilarating pull of Zephyr's power coursing through them. The tempest that had roared only moments before had transformed into a gentle breeze that caressed their skin, a testament to their newfound bond with the Wind Spirit. Yet, while they reveled in their victory, a heavy sense of foreboding began to creep into the air. Xienma turned, her senses heightening as she scanned the horizon. The once-clear skies now bore dark shadows, swirling ominously above the peaks of Stormpeak Mountain. “Do you see that?” she whispered, her voice laced with unease.

he said smiling and then leaned forward. "Stadia didn't always belong to them. They came to stay with us seeking asylum, and then they brought the smoke with them. Mariah is not a wind or earth wielder; her mate is the wind wielder. She is a fire wielder," the man said, and Adam spoke. "That is not true. I saw them wield wind magic and the earth magic." Adam argued.

Alpha's Wildcard: Lunar Strike Mayhem

Alpha's Wildcard: Lunar Strike Mayhem

Mrs Woods was one of these people that you would categorize as a saint because things that other teachers won't do, she always does them easily. “Alphason, a word,” I turned to the principal as the other people filled out of his office. “Just what do you intend to do about this mess? You and I know that rules and consequences can only go so far with the damage that will be incurred by the victim,” the principal said to me and I sighed. “Sir, I have a plan but the Alphas have to approve of it. Tackling stigma is not black and white, I hope it gets approved and then we can move from there,” I said to the principal and I pushed the letter I had submitted to the Alpha king to him.

Moonshadow: The Full Saga

Moonshadow: The Full Saga

The breeze eddied in front of her face. It did not caress. It did not slap. It just hovered, cool and implacable. “We carry news,” the wind said. “Not choices. But we’ve watched you, storm-wolf. Since the first night you screamed at the sky. Since you walked out alone instead of folding in.” Snow swirled around her in small, tight spirals, not enough to blind, enough to wrap her in a moving veil. “We saw you call cloud and crack earth,” it went on. “We saw you *turn back.* We saw you *heal.*”
