The Billionaire’s Blood Debt: Ruined by My Enemy

The Billionaire’s Blood Debt: Ruined by My Enemy

The white veil was a sheer, delicate shroud draped over my copper hair, pinned in place by a diamond tiara that felt like a crown of ice. "The press has lined the entire block, mademoiselle," Madame Laurent’s assistant whispered as she fluffed the massive, architectural train of my gown. "The flashbulbs are visible even through the stained glass." "Let them look," I said, my voice empty of any warmth. The door to the vestry clicked open, and the seamstresses instantly curtsied, gathering their shears and spare pins before slipping out of the room like ghosts. In the mirror’s reflection, Killian walked in.

The King's Unwanted Omega

The King's Unwanted Omega

The music started suddenly and the massive glass doors at the far end of the path opened. I unclasped my hands and stood straight as Silas stepped out. A soft breath left me at the sight of him. He looked... devastating, that was the only word I could put to it. The white and royal blue ceremonial attire fit his slender frame with cruel perfection, the flowing cape trailed behind him like spilled ink, and the sheer white veil partially obscured his face, yet it only made the sight more haunting. My eyes trailed to his frail hands that clutched the bouquet tightly, and the way he walked… a tiny smirk lifted at the corner of my lips, his steps were hesitant, each one carrying the weight of a m

Married in Her Name

Married in Her Name

“Not yet.” Leah stared at the route until the thin line of the laundry-court corridor blurred. Somewhere inside the Grant house, servants would already be moving through back passages with their eyes lowered. Somewhere behind walls and polished doors, the cedar room waited beside the white room that had once been blue. The gown remained there, still beyond their reach, still reserved for another fight. The veil, smaller and easier to move, would come out first. The object that had hidden Leah’s face would be carried toward the very people who needed it to remain silent. Another update came.

The Villainous Emperor is My Pet?

The Villainous Emperor is My Pet?

But you can’t have everything in life. Somehow, I managed to not provoke anyone. I didn’t get any attention either, although I was wearing a veil while the maids were wearing revealing clothes. I think the colours of their garbs represent garbs. Younger ones usually wore white or brown with wooden or plain jewellery. The older ones, who walked with an air of arrogance around them, wore some nice shiny gold or silver jewellery, and light blue uniforms.

Will Bear the Moon

Will Bear the Moon

"Dressed in those ridiculous veils like a bunch of wandering ghosts. They look absurd, don’t they?" Nicoli followed her gaze to where a group of women stood in flowing, diaphanous veils that shimmered with subtle iridescence under the candles' light. Their presence here was remarkable—strange yet eye-catching like a lost bird in a new land. Nicoli lingered on them a moment, feeling their kohl-lined eyes follow his movements.

The alpha king's slave

The alpha king's slave

I wanted people to see the real me. Unfortunately, with the new title, people could no longer see me as just a girl. So, I couldn’t rock the boat. I had to give just as much as they did. My dress was perfect. It was white silk and all over a delicate golden thread decorated the dress with leaves. The veil was so long in the back that I was convinced someone would step on it, but none of that compared to the beautiful crown the queen picked out for me.

Elf To Tame A Werewolf

Elf To Tame A Werewolf

She regards the pyres sombrely for a while, and the silence that follows bears down on us like the clouds above. Behind her, Argell, Haron and Jenna wearing white clothes, stand still with their arms crossed before them. The twins are here now, next to Caivan, and they all stand a short way from Veesa. Saelyna’s hair is in a tight bun, almost white in the sun’s glare, but striking nonetheless. She looks up and catches my gaze. Her face is melancholic as well, but she smiles weakly at me; I return it almost immediately.

Veil Of Destiny

Veil Of Destiny

They must have noticed the color drain from my face because Elvira waved her hands in front of me before snapping her fingers to get my attention. "What is it? You look as white as a ghost?" She asked while Alpha Elijah moved close to me and felt my body temperature. His cold fingers sent a wave of shock through me. "No, nothing. I am fine" I answered and tried to force a smile but I knew that I was not fooling anyone with my pretense of normalcy.

Rejected by Them, Loved by Their Father

Rejected by Them, Loved by Their Father

Ari’s POV “You look amazing,” Everly squeals as she fixes my white veil. I chose a light pink dress to compliment the garden. Empire waist, of course, sweetheart neckline with embroidery flower in white thread from top to bottom, the very bottom of the dress is covered in a layer of lace. My veil is plain white with a blusher. “Let’s fix this part,” Mom helps cover my face with the blusher and we all turn to look in the mirror. Juliet- WOW! We are so beautiful.

Just read this book yet again, and it just keeps getting better. It might seem a little cringy, but the Moon Goddess has a method to her madness. I just might start the sequel here soon, and I hope that it's just as good if not better.

Why are people complaining when the story is not completed as yet? The story is good and sometimes things happens beyond our control. Let’s just hold the bad reviews until after the final chapter. I for one am enjoying the book so far. People need to chill.

Beyond The Veil

Beyond The Veil

Former runway model and once married to a popular pop star, now chief communications and brand officer of the Hawthorne group and divorced. She was staring back at one of Penelope’s fashion and lifestyle idols. It reminded her that she needed to know why Penelope ran away. Clad in a sleek, caramel-colored leather trench coat held at the waist with a matching belt, Vanessa exuded effortless sophistication. The kind of woman that naturally intimidated Kallista. The coat parted slightly as she moved, revealing a fitted cream silk blouse tucked into high-waist tailored trousers in a rich espresso hue. The straight pleats and precise tailoring of the trousers emphasized her elegant frame.
