CJ sits right next to me. I look around this amazingly beautiful place. It's out of this world. The lake is absolutely breathtaking, surrounded by minor mountains and it sits like the regal crown of the earth. It's ringed with small hills and at the ragged shoreline is a tangled mass of gnarled twisted roots ringing into the water. I take in a deep breathe and stare silently at the still waters. It's twilight and the surface of the lake is as smooth as black grass. CJ throws a pebble into the still water. He throws another one. And another one. As the pebbles skip across the still waters, the radiating ripples catches the moonlight, a vision of ecstacy.

I sat down on a large rock and just stared at the lake I now owned. Leslie told me that it was named Lunar Lake and that there is a waterfall on the opposite side. There is a small mountain as well, with cliffs that hang over the lake. I wondered if I could get a jet ski and have some fun on the lake or just get a small boat to take out to the middle and do some fishing.

The sounds of the lake water, the chirping of insects and frogs, and the occasional long crowing were refreshing to hear. If one listened carefully, one would hear the noise of people. Following the sound, they would discover that only two kilometers away from the lake, there was a Western-style villa built over a waterfall decorated with colorful lights. The villa had a swimming pool, a lawn, recliners, and a long table. Four or five servants carried wine, fruits, and snacks while dozens of well-dressed guests chatted in groups of three to five. Of course, there were also naughty children running around playing Chase.

Descending the porch stairs and the hill, I make my way toward the lake. Willow and Ashton are sitting together on the edge of the dock. The glistening water reflects the majestic mountains.

Scarlet had become well-acquainted with the surroundings of the lakeside mansion. She had access to the serene lakefront, complete with a private dock perfect for fishing. The manicured lawns and mountainous landscape were breathtaking. Inside, the mansion boasted a private movie theater and a lavish indoor pool designed for relaxation. A fully equipped gym and yoga studio with mirrored walls and hardwood floors provided ample space for exercise. Additionally, a climate-controlled wine cellar and tasting room housed an extensive collection of fine wines. The advanced smart home system controlled lighting, temperature, security, and entertainment seamlessly.

Victor turned back the narrow dirt lane that wound closer and closer to the lake. I could see a large expanse of blue water through the trees, growing closer until we came upon a large clearing with a huge log cabin in the center. The cabin had two stories with a large wraparound porch. Closer to the water was another cleared area that was home to a fire pit and several deck chairs. At the edge of the lake was a small dock. A boat was tied to the dock, and several kayaks lay on the shore nearby. The place looked like something from a dream. I loved it.
