I finally prayed. ‎ ‎I then walked to the bathroom for a cold shower and returned for a deeper reflection, which resulted in a loud growl emanating from my stomach. ‎“Stomach, can you let me think?" I asked gently rubbing my almost port belly. “I'm hungry too, you know.” ‎But my stomach didn't listen it just kept growling, that's when I heard a knock on my door. ‎ ‎“Who is it?" I doubted, with an arched brow. Praying it's not aunt Velma again.

"Sir Xu.. were you going to spend the night with the lady?" "No.." He questions, "Why?" "Oh... Just asking for a friend," I hum. Then out of nowhere, my stomach begins to growl. For heaven's sake.. My stomach clenched and suddenly a strange sound erupted from my stomach. It took me a second to recover from my surprise to acknowledge that my stomach had just made an embarrassingly loud growling sound. The aroma of the food was so alluring and I had no idea how hungry I was until I ate the whole thing on the plate. Groaning, I laid back on the bed and remembered the promise I made to Camille about calling her but I shrugged it off and decided to call her tomorrow since I have no phone here yet.
