I brought myself to the kitchen and I was thinking of finding something eat. I only saw a box of pizza from the cheapest and nastiest pizza place in the city. I wasn’t really expecting anything which immediately came into fruition when I opened the box. There’s just a tiny long piece of crust left. “Shit! This life fucking sucks!” I whispered to myself gritting with mixed feelings of annoyance and rage.

Precious cutely look at her stomach and reprimand it. "You Mr. Stomach is bad. I am letting you stay in my body rent free and in exchange what did you do? You embarass me in front of Grey Grey's family! Apologize!" As if her stomach understands what she's saying, precious stomach growled loudly again. "Good boy." She praised. Precious looks up and saw our bewildered but amused expression. "He said he's sorry." Sunshine translates what her stomach growl meant. "Are you sure Grey that she's not related to mommy at all?"

But I just snorted. “I’m not hungry.” I snapped out again, but then my body betrayed me by letting out a loud growl. He just lifted a brow. “Fine!” I snatched my glass and took a big drink. Rowan snorted and uncovered the plate in front of me. The smell of steak and baked potato hitting me in the face, causing my stomach to growl once more.

My stomach was definitely mad at me and was showing me just how much with the crazy pangs and endless growling. I reached for the bottle of water I have been sipping from and sipped from it again, it was nearly finished. My stomach hated me for it and growled even more. Pressing a palm flat on my tummy, I continued to work. I could have gotten myself something to eat but with the work in front of me, I didn't want to spend extra time after closing hours so the idea of leaving the office didn't appeal to me. Plus the curtain was pulled back meaning Ethan could see me right through it. If I ordered food, he would see me eating it. Not about to have him confront me about it.

That will be even more embarrassing than anything yet. I'm not sure the time still, but I'm starting to get really hungry. My stomach keeps making noises and it's hard to ignore when I've got nothing else to do. So now all my attention has gone to my loud stomach and it's making me hungrier. I should've saved some of the food. I was stupid to eat it all at once.

People crossing by did glance at me and that made me self-conscious even though no one said anything.
